That's the thing though, they aren't supposed to be. They're supposed to be semi-dwarfed plants. I am hoping mine stays under 7'.
Yes those of us in a certain life stage are not really wanting anything over 7’ and perhaps we need too create a list of what actually was smaller.
I spend a lot of time looking into that but find very few breeders offering more than short, medium & tall with no additional info. I currently have medium plants @ 7 feet tall and not slowing, still have a few weeks until they stretch & I am seeing myself on a ladder with rebar stakes beneath - not a good vision at all.

Views of the Weed Patch. It looks like I'm working on defining a plant community versus an unkept garden. I'm starting to enjoy keeping a green mulch as much as possible. I think plants thrive better in community than solo. Her canopy is starting to fill in. She spreads to 6x6 and is just short of 6' tall.

The tomatoes cantaloupe and watermelon will fill in for a groundcover. I've given the melons a couple of tomato cages to grow vertical and hopefully avoid the weeds. The shade fabric helps keep blackwalnut debris off the plants. 20260720 1817072

Photos taken within last couple days. 6 week indoor then transitioned to outdoors in spring. So far an 8 foot Giant White Haze, a 7 foot Gelato, 5 footer HazeBerry topped twice, and a few other good ones. I make my own soil. No added nutrients for the season, just water and molasses.

So it begins. Re-ammended last years bag mix with new compost that’s been brewing since last spring, my native soil from back in the creek overflow (Smithfield Sandy Loam) and new MG Perlite. I got Amnesia Haze Auto that popped after 3 days in containers #1, Canna Cheese 1:1 in #2 that popped in 3 days and Maverick CBD will go in #3 tomorrow, they’re just breaking the shell today. Oh and 🍺. My temp planters are cut for ease of getting seedlings out when ready for bags and then hair banded so soil stays in. Number tags are cut from old half gal milk jugs. Yes I am a cheap old fucker. Fixed income and all that.View attachment 2601552View attachment 2601553View attachment 2601554View attachment 2601555View attachment 2601557View attachment 2601559View attachment 2601561View attachment 2601562

Hey everyone. Does anybody have any experience with outdoor Early Skunk? I’ve only got a few running but they are so different from one another. 1 is growing like a pure sativa. 2 are so indica dominant and the 4th is one delicate girl! The 2 indicates dominant are short and shrubby as can be. The sativa looking one is tall and thin leafed. The final is so finicky to nutes and even super thrive. Anyone have any advice on Early Skunk?
Thank you for any help! Grow healthy
Growing 3 of them outside in ground first time. 9 weeks today. 2 are getting tall, like my Sour Diesel and 1 shorter more like the 2 Mazar next to her. All were topped and Lst around my 6 foot wire cages. Should start to flower in a couple weeks. They were freebees from Seed Supreme. Gonna take some updates pics tomorrow😉
