AC Tech here and gone, relay and capacitor are good. It was a little low on refrigerant so he added a lb. He said that in some compressors they can run backwards when there is a brief loss of electrical power then right back on. So it explained it to me as if the high pressure in the compressors forces a backwards spin then when power is immediately returned it will continue to run backwards. I thought he was bullshitting me so I looked it up....he was right. Anyway, supply vent putting out 46 right now, return at 65 so much much better but the window units are staying....for now.

The shit we learn the hard way.

Afternoon farmers. I was outside checking for catipillars on my nearly ready mystery plant and this wasp dropped onto a leaf with a catipillar larve. I ran into the house for my phone and man this guy just tore it up fast. I forgot how ranvenous these wasps are. When i used to camp and salmon fish these were all over the banks and you could hardly sit outside during the day they were so bad.

We called them, yellow jackets! I don’t know if it’s the same thing, but you didn’t wanna leave your beer uncovered when they were around!🥴🍻 Or the wife used to call them, meat bees!

If I needed to add zinc organically what would I do and how come everybody tops? Smaller buds? More buds? I have less botrytis and fusaria when I keep them natural and less trim!, my solution to zinc is kelp, yarrow, mint, comfrey and nettle tea, but it's more broad spectrum, and not pinpoint. I was also thinking elemental zinc pills crushed and applied foliar

Don't know about the zinc.
But I top to create a bush instead of a tree.. keeping a lower profile away from prying eyes.
I also only get a max of 5.5-6 hrs of direct sunlight, so a large canopy is going to absorb more light than a tree.

I'm also getting too old for being on a ladder much, anymore. Though I'm on one every day at work.

I grew two last year. One a tree, the other a bush. Both were close in weight at harvest, but the bush had bigger, fuller buds.

From the tree.

It's just a personal preference, IMO.
U could just as easily bend them over to create more vertical branches.

Sunday funday. All in flower , all ok . One has been a problem since transplanting, will still get some good buds. Last one has septoria, been keeping it in check. First one is about 8’, second one a tad smaller. First three where pinched, last three not. To the cat wondering about pinching, you can see the difference. Getting into the fall damp , windy time of year. Let’s see what happens.

Great looking group of girls ya got there.😲
I'm really hoping we all fare well this fall.
I'd like to see it stop raining every other day in my parts. Ground is saturated like it was springtime, still cutting grass every few days, too .😮‍💨. Usually by this time of year, my grass is almost brown and went dormant from lack of rain. Let's hope fall is more of a, Indian summer type. 🤞

I’m with you Hoss. I’ve had the rainy stormy falls, big plants and bud rot. Nothing I can do about it, I’m a drive and a chip from the bay, ocean on the south side of the bay. Life centers around the ocean, climate etc.
