A few from last year
Wonderful grows🥰 my town has had 2 days of heavy rains it's misty today and my last 3 plants are still under my patio cover LOL. I'll drag them out later they need water. I sure hope we get more weeks of sunshine and temps above 70f. It sure has been cool not very good for the weed garden.

Super Silver Haze, from Seed Supreme, a real slow grower but supposed to be decent THC. It's into the 4th week of flowering. Hope this year the pot pirates don't steal it like last year.

Same in my area hopefully we can get a couple more weeks of good weather.

Excellent looking plants. 🤞wishing us all a great harvest
We are sharing this stormy weather but since mine are in the ground they’re just toughing it out, I’m going to shake them off this morning and hope for some sun today, it’s supposed to be a dry week ahead.
There’s been a wet fire smell in the air which is a good sign, we drove up the Clackamas river yesterday to see if we could see smoldering wildfires and got a maybe look at one of them but really glad it’s wet, unusual for a pot grower I know but fuck we’ve had explosive conditions all summer and being on point all the time is not a good thing.
Anyway the ladies were leaning this way and that yesterday so will probably have some staking etc… and we will see what’s happened to all those medium height 10’ + ones, 2 layers of trellis netting did it’s job. Still waiting for some breeder height standards to be developed, not holding my breath though.
My HoneyFace fast from Twenty20 is doing really well & she ought to easily be the first to harvest but not for a week or two yet.
I checked on the overflow parking out in the brush a week ago and they were ok, it’s 20 or so in a small fenced spot that don’t really get much care or regular water but they can provide sometimes and they have ridden through this season pretty well so we will see.

New Outdoor Growers - I am going to offer some unsolicited advice, don’t rush out in a fall storm w heroics in mind, if you prep before that’s good but if not do your thing when the storms past, you going out mid storm & trying to fix shit is almost a guarantee of helping to break things, you’ve decided to work with nature so do that and you will learn but she ain’t a gentle mom…
Onwards

I had a challenging (to say the least) season with the weather and catapillers. I did manage to harvest a pretty decent Super Lemon Haze. I had to harvest early, I was gonna loose her to bud rot or bugs. Va was so hot at the beginning of the season and then extremely wet and humid....now

SLH is a 10-12 week flower. Hope it isn’t a bunch of unripe fruit.

Early weed is better than no weed.

You and me both, I was going out twice a day and continued to find but rot on lower branches. A few rotten buds in the center of colas. I would rather have waited a few more weeks, but even AI told me to chop it. I could have fought the catapillers but the rot was fast and scary.
If nothing else im gonna have a ridiculous amount of Eddie's.

Just some random pics of my boysenberry vine and different varieties of spicy peppers. They've been loving this heat.

I would rather have one good oz then 1 lbs of undone weed better go with Indica if you can’t wait

Definitely. I would have waited and salvaged what I could have. Otherwise it’s just filler.
i wish i saved the picture of a wild thailand plant i grew outdoors,.
i’ve never had a plant in sooo bad of shape, i mean lots of bud rot, powdery mildew, pest, broken branches, every leaf was trash because of it,. all brown and green,. and here’s what i got out of it plus a little more not in pic

Here's the thing.
First ive been growing for yrs. I just dont post here very often. When were saying early what your referring to is potency and yield. Say I waited 3 more weeks. It have to douse her in BT to fight the catapillers and mites. The fluctuations in RH swings +-50% daily. Increasing bud rot. Potency is maybe in the 65-70% range. I could fight daily and loose 25-30% yield to environment just to have "Ripe" but degraded (50% Amber trichomes) now we have 70% of a plant at 80-85% potency. Or I could have lost it all in 2 cloudy wet days.
Thoughts ?

You do what you think is right! And live with the results! But it always gets down to, you, making the decision and not someone else!👍 Whether your right or wrong, you’re still the captain!😁🐒
