While checking the plants with the microscope i discovered that one Screwdriver OG is ready. So i did chop it off. I checked every bud with the microscope but couldnt see any mold. Here are some pics of her...

The lower part of the plant still had light green buds as u can see on the 2nd last pic.
I am wondering if i only chop off the top buds of the plant will the bottom buds of the plant keep ripening?

Hey guys. Checked the plants again today and two of them look ready. I took one Screwdriver OG out of the tent. I will keep her in a dark place for 24 hours before i cut her off. A friend told me it makes a smoother smoke because the plant uses the rest of the sugar, which is in the plant, during night time. I never heard of that before but i wanted to give it a try. So this Screwdriver OG will be cut off tomorrow.

One Persian Pie, the frosty one did show many amber so i chopped her too. Unfortunalety i cant show the whole plant due to my full tent. I had to cut her in the tent. Here are some pics of her.

She was very leafy, but many of them were covered in frost. The Screwdriver yesterday was much easier to manicure, but this one has a heavy sweet smell on it. It goes a little bit into overripe Bananas but with something more i cant define. Nearly like a parfume. She was also stickier than the Screwdriver yesterday. A total different plant and experience. The 2nd last pick is funny. Its a double bud. Never seen something like that before. It looks like two buds grown as one. That also means it had double the leaves to manicure. 2 down, 18 more to go :)

Another two down, both screwdriver OG.
I wanted to show the difference of yield. The smaller plate was like half of the other plant. She did smell only a little bit.
Maybe that pheno is a low yielder. Maybe the position in the tent. I didnt like it but lets see what the smoke will be, who knows ^^

Tomorrow i will chop the purple Screwdriver where i cutted off the headbud due to mold. I couldnt find any other sign of mold until today and the trichomes say they are ready. She looks gorgeous.

Additionally i will cut off this Cashew Kush, she also looks ready.

Things are looking good. No signs of bud rod, trichomes are amber as they should be. Yield wise it looks like it should be enough for my friend and me until the next run finishes. As long as we can smoke our own weed everything is fine :)

Hey guys, yesterday i had another rotten one :(
Now that this plant also had bud rod its obvious what the problem was. The airflow in the tent was not good enough.
I made a little sketch to visualize the problem. The plants in the bottom left corner where not covered enough from the airflow in the tent.
It was a dead area.

The Cashew Kush #5 from the corner had bud rod in several buds. She was very leafy too. I guess the plant tried to maximize transpire area with all that leaves but without wind that takes it away it was a damned. Threw away the whole plant.
Here are some pics of her, she was sticky but the buds were underdeveloped and leafy, very leafy. I also found one seed in the lower branches. Fat and brown. Like the plant was telling me "Ok buddy, you messed up on this one but i will give you a second chance" :)

I also cutted off a Runtz Muffin yesterday. She was fine. Had a nice smell and beautifull coulours. Good yield.

To find another infested plant was kind of a downer yesterday. I hope thats all. The airflow problem will not happen again so i am confident for the next runs. Still i have to be super cautios and keep inspecting the buds. I also got me new batteries for my mini microscope so i am double equipped now to check for mold. I think the microscope will be my new best friend for the next weeks and months.
I got 8 more plants in the tent. Letting them stay in Darkness now for 48 hours, they were watered 2 days ago. Will chop them down all together, manicure and hang them for at least 10 - 14 days before jars. Wish me luck that i wont find any more rod :/

Smoked a Cahew Kush after 12 days drying today, promising ^^
The bud pics show perfectly how most of the sugar leaves are twisted topwards, a clear sign for bud rod i guess. Next time i will read that better if it happens on a plant. Need to keep that in mind.

Today was big chop day. The last 8 ladies were watered 4 days ago and were standing in darkness for the last two days. They got manicured a little bit and hanged in the dry tent. I will let them hang there for a minimum of 10 days. Here are some pics.

Cashew Kush #2 (nice structure, even canopy)

Runtz Muffin #3 (very sticky)

Persian Pie #1 (biggest bud in tent with being in the corner(but under the vent))

Screwdriver OG #2 (full with trichomes and beautifull colours)

Persian Pie #4 (she purpled too, from the Purple Punch in the Banana Crumble, looks awesome)

Persian Pie #5 (a bit purple but plenty of trichomes even in the bottom area)

Runtz Muffin #5 (the greenest of em all, maybe she could have gone a few days more but i wont let the light burn for one small plant)

I germ in paper tissues then transplant into jiffis. 22-24°C 80%+Humi
In jiffis i aim for 21°C with 70%+ humi but mostly its around 22°-23°

For the records, 2 White Runtz and 2 Pure Michigans didnt sprout until now and i have not much hope left for them. We will see...

Hey guys. Today Persian Pie#2 and Screwdriver OG #4 were taken out of the tent. Both were dried for 10 days, manicured single buds. They were crispy when i took them out. Smaller buds stem were snaping but the biggest buds stem did still bend. So everything fine. Now they were put into Jars with humidity packs. Biggest buds get 62% because i want to smoke them last, the fluffy ones at 58% and i have some for testing with 55%.

Persian Pie #2

The Persian is much brighter with some purple sugar leaves at the top buds. Screwdriver darker in colour, also some purple sugar leaves but not as much as the other Screwdrivers. Both plants have good trichomes density. The Persian has slightly more i would say. Taste wise i wont say much, it was aight but what would you expect after 10 days... This things need time, but for 10 days in, it was already a smooth smoke.
The Screwdriver yielded 45g and the Persian Pie 37g

Hey guys, half way done. 9 plants are in jars, with bovedas, curing. I open once a day and let some fresh air in.
In two days i will make the rest of the plants.
