The space is awesome. I just hope I can do it the justice it deserves and make my mentors proud of my desire to create high quality product...

Woah, the power box arrived and the thing is HUGE. Its probably over 25 LBS and 22 inches by 12 inches..
My plan is to mount a 4' X 4' plywood on the wall, then mount the power box, plug in and half of the ballasts.

Then the ones a bit farther away will mount to 2 x 4s closer to the light.

I hired a few Mexican guys who will peldal bikes hooked up to power condensors!

Naw, I ran 6-3 wire and have a 50amp breaker from our main box. Actually the guy from monster garden in cal was very helpful in figuring out exactly which powerbox I could run.. I wanted the 12 light, but he was clear that I didn't have enough power...

Ac is next on the list, may have to move some breakers to make room for the ac.. not real sure just yet..

Well, to be totally honest with you, I can't think of a more expensive hobby until you get into racing cars or something. And yeah, 10klights, hobby- once you know your stuff. 10k rookie, you'll be busy...

Watchout! more money spent ahead!

In my 10 light room I Installed a excell air 4 ton plug n play split unit (able to install yourself) cost was right under 5 grand

Works great for about 2years and counting
I did read some bad reviews about thembut I had already purchased mine glad I didn't listen to the reviews

hell for 8500 you can get 2-2 ton mini splits

you should probably jump over to cannabis Johns thread I am sure they're cheaper and better options

Yeah, Cannabis John has been very helpful so far. Wish I had the extra cash to fly him out for a weekend to install for me. !

The room is coming together..

I got power today. Ran a 50 AMP breaker to the power box 10 light controller.
He even checked my total amps being used and get this: 20 amps is all we using when the hot tub is off.
So we have plenty left for the grow and the hot tub to share. :) So power wont likely ever be a problem after all..

@respect, don't look too closely.. I know your an electrician.. :)

Well, even though I chopped all the girls in a bout of paranoia, I plan to finish my room and prepare for my next round.

Here are some updated pictures, I have the 12 X 5 table in place and have 9 X 15 available space. Was pondering building 2 more tables, each 5 X 8 and having 3 tables with 3, 1000W lights above each.

The room is large so its hard to get a picture showing the whole area.

Legal I dig the table. Why did you not put a small rim on it? I have a feeling you will want to, it will absolutely help keep all the pots in place.

I would definitely work with the gear you already have before talking about expanding. However, if you have the space and the power availability go for the three separate tables. I think at 5' x 8' you can get away with 2 1000's over them, but an extra light would not hurt.
