Not factoring plant limits or pruning, topping or lollipoping is the least of what to consider. Under a 1k light your growspace is max 5x5 the only variable will be your reflector and propagation method. If your doing SOG then its as many as you can fit in a 5x5 area. I recommend getting a wide reflector like a raptor or magnum xxl type reflector, put 3 side to side and 5 length wise. In a 4x6 area with 15 plants under a 1k you can easily achieve 1.5g x W =24 oz.
