2k Pots Or Bed?

For a 2k DE grow would a 4x8 bed be better than pots for yield? Ive heard that for beds to really be effective you need a large space with lots of overlapping light. For smaller grows its just better to stick to pots. Is this true?
Beds would definitely be easier to maintain as far as watering, but seems like higher number of plants you could fit under the same space with pots would out yield the beds.

Your limiting factor will obviously be your light and I never asked my lights but I don't think they care what lies beneath

Yea singer that's a broad question,same plant numbers? Same veg time? What size pots etc.

I like beds because the roots have more general space to spread out. That being said, in order to get perfect beds you have to have a perfectly even canopy. If you stick clones straight into a bed some might not take off as well as the others and then they lag behind the whole cycle. Pots are easier because you can move the plants around. If you pre veg in pots and only pick plants that are growing evenly to go into the beds, then beds is my preference so far.
