This year I'm doing something different, not sure if it's right or wrong.
I planted 3 seeds from RQS 2 autos and 1 photo, direct to soil in 5 gallon soft pot with Foxfarm soil. They all popped out 5 days later According to most time lines and benchmarks I see online. Im behind, but, beginning of 5 week they are all close to 18" tall, been growing about an 1" a day and begging good. The autos are just starting pistils.
I am a low budget kinda grower. I have a medium sized vinyl green house they are in. I bought a cheap led grow light that I use to supplement the darker times for 18/6.
Sometimes in the afternoon after work I sit them outside for direct sunlight for several hours, then back in the tent. Water every 3-4 days. Feed FF cultivation nation grow once a week.

Again right now everything seems healthy, but, behind according to research.

First grow forum for me so be kind 😁.

Any guidance is appreciated!!

Hello and welcome to the Farm. They don't look bad it's the lack of strong direct sunlight or a better stronger light is what they need now. Not sure where your located but if temps are above 75f during the day and no lower than 50f overnight i'd be leaving those photos outside. The auto is abit more sensitive to temp fluxs/swings. If your plan is too go perminently outside start looking at your areas daylight hours in the sunniest part of your yard. My photos are outside for good now. Rain won't hurt them at this age, but you don't want them flooded out. I put a bamboo steak along side my plants and tie them to it gently so they can move alittle with the breeze without snapping on windy days, really helps them to get stronger/tougher.

Good luck with your grow and nothing much else to say other than patience and be pro active with bugs. I do spray mine with capt. jacks and neem at first sign of bites on the leaf.

Thank you for the advice!!

I'm in the southeastern mountain area. About 2600' elevation. Mid 80s to low 60s sometimes at night.
I don't intend to permanently ground the photo this time. I guess I'm hoping after the autos have finished, I could have it by itself in the greenhouse at 12/12 to finish last month or 2. I do have to worry about random animals possibly eating it.

Last year's 1 plant, (random seed planted) i just used a garlic water mist to spray the soil around the plant, and aside from the random small spiders, the plant was untouched. Don't know if its good or bad but worked last year. And the flower was decent.

Again, Thank you for the response!!

This was my last year plant. Since, it was a random seed from a one hitter, it was planted late, and popped 7/1/24. So, I'm sure it didn't reach full potential before harvest, But, still was a wonderful couple oz's 😁

I think that greenhouse is stealing their sunlight! A lot of greenhouses do that! So you get a little greenhouse stretch!

I tend to agree that the clear material works better for a greenhouse.

I really don't mind not maxing yield this season. First time with mail order seeds, so, just wanted to see what happens untrained, this time.
Im hoping for enough (personal) to last until next harvest. If it stays close to the (spec) max height of 4', I can drop the pot. Or it goes out side.

Yes should have mentioned photo vs the auto - especially if OP is behind the curve time wise.
Yeah, I think I'm behind for sure
