First grow was an autoflower in coco. This grow is in living soil with a photoperiod. I tried to top the plant and follow the remove all lower growth formula for 16 tops and then flip to flower. I lost 1 branch do to a snap and i also did not top 3 others so I am currently at 11 tops and I think I am just going to stay there with this grow. I'm in a 3x3 Vivosun. The plan is to let it bounce back for a few more days then top dress i guess with worm castings and gaia green bloom then give it around a week for the nutrients to set in a little and then flip to flower. My question I guess is whether or not this is a good idea based on these 2 pictures. First picture is when I first topped and tied it down and second picture is what it looks like right now. Any advice would be great on best way to proceed if my plan isnt the best.

Hey Sar....

From everything you've mentioned, I think that area will fill in nicely...

Once she starts grabbin hold, she'll take off...

Looks great by the way!!

She filled that 3x3 out pretty nicely. I wouldn’t worry about missing the original 16-top plan now. 11 healthy tops and a full screen is better than forcing a formula and stressing her, especially in living soil.

From the video she looks like she recovered well and is already setting flower sites. I wouldn’t top or do any heavy stripping now. Just keep tucking anything that wants to outrun the net, and maybe clean a little shaded junk under the screen once stretch settles. The middle is getting dense, so airflow is probably the bigger thing to watch from here.

Top dress was a good call, just let the biology do its work. Keep the soil evenly moist, not soaked/dry/soaked, and don’t chase quick fixes unless the older fans start showing a real pattern. Right now she looks like she’s doing what you wanted after the rough training start.
