Hey all,

All is going well, except for the PM issue. Just a small area on the JTR's. Other than that, the girls are all doing great. Here is a photo of the PM area. I have been usung a solution of baking soda to keep it in check.
Any other ideas on dealing with Powder Mold? The two photos are the JTRs. One with the mold one without.

Great grow man! I ran some JTR earlier this year and super cropped it. I pulled 1.25lbs from 6 plants. Big ass cola's. I also had a pm issue w/ my oaksterdam clones. I used Greencure early on and a sulfer burner to contained the problem thru harvest. I'm new to the site but, I'll try to get some JTR Pics up. I hope you have bubble bags. Hash from this stuff is awesome.

Well..I won't be getting any more beans from Barneys Farm any trime soon. Day 50, and all four of the Sweet Tooth plants, have hermed. The JTR plants seem not to be effected by the gays.

I am wondering.. if I did not clean up as well as I should have, from the grow I did in this room last year(had a couple of herms). I have been careful to keep conditions as perfect as I could.
Could this be left over pollen from the old grow? if so what are some of the best clean-up methods?:mad0229:

I would bet all that it was not "old pollen"...Humidty and water destroy pollen..If you have ever sprayed them girls down with a mist bottle then you have destroyed any pollen in there...

Not to jinx you or anything but, the JTR did hermie on me too. Not too many seeds though. I did'nt even notice until smoking. I think it's all in the genes man.

Hi all,

Quick update..the JTRs are still girls and doing fine. An on going battle with the PM, but I seem to be winning that one. Here is a shot of one of the JTRs. About 10 days to finish I think. I get a better shot next time.

P.S. Even though they hermed out on me, the Sweet Tooth ended up to be really strong smoke, so not a total loss there.:smiley_joint:

Hey everyone,

Here is a couple of pics for ya'll. First is the Sweet Tooth that I had to pull early. This accually turned out to be some killer shit. I can't really put my finger on how to discribe the high. Relaxing, but very visual in a trippy way. Second pic is some JTR porn...enjoy. I am pulling one today and the other in about 5 more days. "bout 20% amber heads, so she's ready.

I had them vegging for about 30 days, but I got them as large clones so my guess would be about 45 days total.

Can't wait to try the Space Queen and Casey Jones babys next up in the grow room!

It has nothing to do with not cleaning up after your last grow. Thats sometimes has to do with mold. Plants herm for two reasons: One is genetics or poor breeding programs (interbreeding hermies or ones that have tendencys to herm). A genetic cause would be the feminizaton of seeds. Barney's could have made a strain that is so consistent it follows its previous parents/mothers ways. To get feminized seeds you have to turn your plants into hermies. To do this you have to give infrequent lighting schedules. For instance, 24hours off 10 hours on and then in reverse 24 hour on 10 hours off. This brings me to the second reason, the rooms not light tight when I first started indoors my room was not light tight. light was coming in from the cracks on off time, in between boards and ceiling, and it turned all my plants hermie. Always make sure that it is light tight during the off hours

Sweet Tooth

Hiya Farmersss. My sweet tooth plants got hella frosty and started to PURPLE at week five into the flowering stage. I've let them run a few more weeks and tonight i pulled them aside and placed them under a 600 for the night so tomorrow i can add just icewater and honey/molases, budswell guano with budblaster for two days then just clearex and icewater. they should be very purple and extremely fragrant and sweet and very crystally. Have never grown this strain before but it looks ready with the microscope, the trichs are 80percent milky and 20 amber so..looks ready..right? In hydro under 1000W bulb.:sun2:

From what i'm understanding these pics are at week 5? If u dont mind posting a pic of your finished sweet tooth i would really appreciate it. I have an indica leaning sweet tooth cross that looks exactly like yours. Stoked 2 c how nice your ladies were lookin already at 5 weeks. One -Keepz
