2nd year grower with some questions

For these plants, the girl is 12+ft tall and been in flowering like almost 2-3+ weeks ahead of the other plant in this backyard in ground. The smaller one is right at about 6ft tall. Wondering how far I'm a long and when should I be looking to chop her . I know she's not ready yet but I'll let y'all see . Last pic is the smaller one that's starting to show some buds

You've got many weeks left. Mid October, probably. Wait til most of those white pistils turn brown and curl up. I'd think about getting some kind of support going, some stakes or trellis. Something or you're risking stems breaking as those flowers fill in. Have you inspected for bugs and wpm? Hard to tell, but looks like you might have something going on.

Yah I have been having on and off bug problems all year. Seems like more this year then last year but I've been battling them for sure . And the big girl I do have stakes on each side supporting her the litter one i haven't yet
