Just seeking clarification to avoid an erroneous assumption. That's all. Hopefully, everyone understands what is meant by 'flipping the light' versus, for example, dimming the light. To me, 'less light' means something other than flipping the light.

I'm in construction, so I thought I could build a better tent myself than buying one.

I like your tent. I would build one myself, if I could. I'm often aggravated with commercially available tents. IMO, the companies that sell them could do much better, but seem unwilling to do any R&D. I can think of many ways to make tents better.

I do apologize, I jumped the snarky gun pretty quick man.
I felt the same way about the state of commercial tents, I wanted to plan it to my specifications. Which is limited head room.
