Already removed this hindu kush plant almost a week ago. Was already in transition like the panama when I switched to led. Buried under other plants and fluffy but smokes very nice and smooth.

Hey six,

I had pck x sh, hindu kush, panama, and panama x sh, with widely varying flower times. Panama and HK were two weeks ahead in flower too (i.e. put on 12/12 earlier). That, and flowering several males, making hundreds of seeds, the pck cross still being a really low yielder, basically not filling the space as I would for a quantity run, as well as having to switch back to hps for a few days/mornings makes this all a bit skewed... that all said, and with still some plants drying, it will be about a pound... more like 420gram. From less than 330watt average per hour.

That's almost the same as I got with 600whps, IF I do a for me regular run from reg seeds and selecting males, i.e. If I don't focus on quantity. I have no doubt I could pull 600gram from the 4x4' I got.

Which frankly doesn't surprise me. My led light produces roughly the same amount of par light as my 600w hps setup with an old bulb and reflector, but with less yellow and more red. Almost same quantity light, slighlty better quality, pretty much evens it out. Both the hps and led are not really enough for my 4x4 in theory, but in practice...

400-500ppf is already considered "high" intensity by real pros... I'm at 570 or so.

My light starts soft, as in boosts to 100% the first hour. Ideally I would be able to boost it a little further around noon.
I planned to add about 40 more watts, for better veg mode spectrum, and at the same time allow to boost and change spectrum (with cool whites) around noon during flowering.

But... it's working so well so far I'm going to do another round as it is. Need to replace my t8 tubes in veg box anyway, will probably add a few extra then.

As for the end product, it is definitely amongst the top results I've grown and smoked. No idea how much of that I can contribute to the genetics and the led light. Will post some more pics soon.

Did get some bud rot, maybe 10 grams gone but besides that not being uncommon for me this time of year, I need to lower the ceiling in my closet to reduce the volume. Due to the lower temps from using the leds and less watts the exhaust, with thermostat, doesn't run full speed while it's already a tad too small for my space. At the same time running it full speed pulls out the heat fast. May have to get some heating mats during the winter for plants in soil. Or, put my 320watt meanwell inside the intake of my closet... I used to do that with airpump for hydro. Keeps it cool and spread the heatloss of the driver from the bottom up through the plants.

Or maybe... maybe get that infra red contactless thermosensor and infrared leds. Both measure and control actual plant temp...
