looks good bro, so what are you thinking as far as grow progress between the 2 lights. It seems to be that led meds are so filled with trichomes and hid meds are on the dense side. either way looking excellent

i agree with u, ive actually notice that on my last grow hps grow, compared to my led grow, the hps was way dense, but something about that led herb that just made it POP!

im convinced that i have the best of two worlds, (hps and led) so im looking for dense stanky nugs on this grow.
and hopefully on my next grow, the magnum plus will out perform the 600

ive never grown under hid lights so I cant compare my grows to anything else but what I know and thats led. I just recently chopped down one of my ladies and finally dried and weighd everything out and It was a little over 8 zips! now thats off of 1 stealthgrow 602 which actuall wattage pull is 327w. now I couldnt be any happier with the results but for some reason when I got into growing I kept hearing 1g/watt talk so it makes me think that this is not that impressive. but on the other hand it is a half pd plant, indoor, under led so I cant think that its not impressive. but thats where i come back to I cant compare to an hid grow. maybe you can tell me your thoughts.

Nice job on the scrog :) And love the mixed spectrum growing! I'd have to agree on your comment about LED buds being overall better taste, high, and potency. Yields aren't to far off from hps if you got good LEDs, and could be better with the "right" LEDs. I'll be watching your progress. Keep up the GREEN work brah!

word, this grow im aiming for quality, next grow with the two mag plus i will be shooting for yield, and of course DANKNESS

BRAVO!!! thats a good yield in my books.
and yea, i also been hearing HPS veterens telling me that, "once leds produce 1gpw then they will consider leds " or "pound per plant"
i think most leds growers are still learning the "right" way to grow under leds.
LED is a whole diffrent game and i guarentee u will break that 1gpw once u got your grow down with the right strain.

as far as i know, the diodes should have a long life span, as long as they dont over heat, but im geussin cheap made ones are bound to break for no reason. and yea a hps/hod bulb should be replaced every other cycle or once a year, that adds up.

anyone have anythig to add to that?

what is the foot print of the mag plus alone?

the footprint on my current scrog is about 2.5x2.5 but thats because of the 600 hps next to it,

but if its running alone
the "noticeable" foot print is about 3x3
but if position right its really more then 4x4

thats why im looking forward to my next grow, im fitting two mag plus in a 4x4, double the footprint double the power:cool0019:

sfv og is ready to be harvested, im just waiting on a couple of amber tri to pop up, i still have more pics of her that ill post before chop.
the trainwrecks are still taking their sweet ass time, thats ok tho because it gives me more time to get the 2nd mag plus up and running.
also orginally i was going to flower my blackwater and fire og under the two mag plus as soon i was was done with this grow but i decided to try out the veg mode on the mag plus. anywho ill post more pics laters

I believe the combination LED and HPS is really fine, HPS for the boom and LED for a quality boost, if u really want top notch u should combine HPS with LEP.
