Agree 100%. And I'd add that 1% is a statistical tie.All that shows is that harvesting early reduces cannabinoid content and terps. There was no control, being same plant harvested same days, one in light and one in dark.

This is better than typical bro science, but there was only one rep, giving the experiment 0 degrees of freedom and no way to calculate or isolate reasons for variability. We could actually be looking at differences in different plant parts and variability in the lab (especially for those terp contents, which don't show trends, just apparent random variability).Yes. Check out this lab tested results here . Best video i have seen that shows facts rather then just someones opinion
Cool stuff thanks for the specific knowledge grow on brothers(PDF) Effect of Music on Plants – An Overview
PDF | On Dec 28, 2015, Anindita Roy Chowdhury and others published Effect of Music on Plants – An Overview | Find, read and cite all the research you need on ResearchGatewww.researchgate.net
This is an actual study on music and plant growth.
Proves nothing but dude harvested his plant too early nice try. Keep trusting a YouTube. LmaoYes. Check out this lab tested results here . Best video i have seen that shows facts rather then just someones opinion
Show me a pdf scientific study to back your claims up. Not a YouTube post.Yes. Check out this lab tested results here . Best video i have seen that shows facts rather then just someones opinion
my guy, i was jus thinkin i know i saw this tested some where. wasnt about to dive into the youtube history tho haha but doesnt it show an increase intitially in thc/decrease in terps or they change or some sht but then degredation after too long?Yes. Check out this lab tested results here . Best video i have seen that shows facts rather then just someones opinion
"Terps" are secondary metabolites (?right?) and therefore are only synthesized when they have light (energy) to do so.I always thought the 48 hrs of darkness was to lower chlorophyll and increase terps.
Sorry this happened 2 you man. The reason it happened is because your “environment” was not properly dialled in b4 u flicked that light..Can't believe I fell victim to this hype - at the expense of my tops....
Another reason not to do "extended darkness" is it creates the perfect situation for white mold/bud rot to set in...
Was monitoring everyday and had no issues, then went for 20 hours darkness and after checking suddenly there are some very small spots of white mold. Obviously, this forced an immediate cutdown and full inspection of every single bud to eliminate any "fluffy" white shit. Luckily, I caught it early enough and I only lost <1% of the crop, but it could have been so much worse...
this is just a cautionary tale... fuck "extended darkness", shit is just "bro science"
I actually don't know. I know my plants smell a lot stronger in the morning. I tried 48 hrs once. Didn't notice any difference in the finished bud, and never did it again. I actually think early growers made a lot of this stuff up just so it seemed more complicated, and people would think they couldn't grow themselves. "It's too hard, just buy from me." type thing, lol."Terps" are secondary metabolites (?right?) and therefore are only synthesized when they have light (energy) to do so.
the "cooler" temps help PRESERVE the ones that are there.
Say what you want, if you haven't done it yourself you know squat..I only reported what I witnessed. Big talk little one you're yapping like a 12 year old....I've heard enough out of you bye bye. Have you found the ignore button yet?Completely false. Trichomes need light to fully ripen. Every expert I have ever talked , and have been around says bull shit.
Call me 'Captain Bro Science ' but this above statement makes the most sense .Partially dimmed light toward the end of harvest helps ripen trichomes imo.
Intense light all the way through with LED slows ripening. It is simulating mid summer rather than autumn/fall.
Nature knows best.
36 hours of darkness in nature is a disaster.
For me lowering 10-12 degrees puts my room at 70 exactly .always remember with something gained or acquired is something lost also..
playing with cold temps can affect in lower yield.. but you may get purple colours or etc..
Ohh i give a few shocks and surprises in the end and that works amazingly 4 me.. Remember stress in the end is what puts the plant in “survival” mode and as a result protects themselves with that Tetrahydrocannabinol..For me lowering 10-12 degrees puts my room at 70 exactly .
I don't push it too much .
The thing natures still does that I don't is be inconsistent day to day .
I strive for consistency with few shocks or surprises.
