4 weeks in and want some feedback

I'm 4 weeks into my first grow and don't know if I'm doing well or not. At about week 2 I ran into some nutrient burn and dialed back my mix.

I use jack's 20-10-20 and silica everytime I water at a 1.0-1.3 ec. My soil mix is 75% peat, 13% vermiculite, and 12% rice hull im 5 gallon fabric pots.

I'm most worried about how short and compact they are.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I bought a cheap ppfd meter on Amazon. It was about 90$. I don't know how accurate it is but I try to keep the ppfd at 450-500. I don't seem to have light burn. Should I lower the light intensity?

I forgot that the ppfd should be somewhere in the 200-400 range. I'm gonna lower the light intensity to about 300 gradually over the next couple of days, thanks for the help bro.
