Hi guys, what a great place you've got here. Tried to decide on where to log my shiznit and this is it :) I am first time grower and have decided to go perpetual up in dis piece :P

I have some gear ready to install in my room and instead of a "lodge-style" tent, I opted for a Secret Jardin DS120W for (my first of two?) blooming tent. A DP60 for my seeds(lings) and rooting pots, then to a DP90 for vegging and potting up from 0.69 to 2.4L for two weeks and then the final 2 vegging weeks in final 15L autopots. I was strongly advized to pot up three times instead of two when growing in coc. If my brain does not fail me, this will give me 2 plants every 4 weeks with 2x15L ready for bloom + 4x2.4L ready for final pots + 6x0.69L "first pots". Until I can afford a dedicated mother tent, I will try and make room for one in the DP90. I have a 6400 kelvin 24w tled for the DP60, 2x24w SJ TLED for my DP90 and 400W with a nice medium AdjustAWings :) I have spent about 25% of my annual smokebudget and there is still longer to go. I might have to be as stealthy as possible and will maybe try and fir the mother/prop/veg tents in two or three seperate compartments and build a small stealth dryer in my garage. Setting up what I have for now during Eostre and hopefully, when I get to posting some pics and specs, maybe some of you more experienced lot can offer me some do's and do not's.. :) Thank you!

i have no experience, so this might not count for you... but i offer the advice - DONT OVER WATER! you probably think to yourself, i wouldnt do that! but believe it or not, that is the blight of many a newbie, and some old-bies. when you are told your issues began with water... too much, too little, not right ph or ppm... remember the advice, dont over water!

welcome farmer! have fun and we love pictures! (well, i love pictures - its a thing!)

That is why I have an Autopot system for my flowering tent. I plan on flowering two to three 15L pots in a 120cm x 60cm x 178cm (4x2x5).
I will water vegging plants manually. For now.

Pictures will follow, ofcourse. I just wanted to get this strted :)

Wow! Sounds like you have a lot planned. My advice right now is to write everything out and draw diagrams etc to help you see the whole piece. Helps you to know what you don't know.

Once you get growing, i recommend using all your senses and trying to get a feel for everything even as you are following directions for how things "ought" to go. There's no replacement for being able to feel a nitrogen buildup, deficiency, etc in the leaves. Smell the different phases of development. Watch exactly how she chooses to branch, when/where the stem goes stiff, etc.

Once you have that input, then find good sources to look stuff up. My favorites are marijuana botany by robert c clarke and cervantes's encyclopedia. If you just Google things you will go in circles for ages. Asking on here can be good too.. but you do have to sift the free advice you get.

Good luck!

Welcome to the farm MO.

I used autopots early on too. They are pretty neat and work really well for stealth. I loved the gravity feed aspect of them. Did you go with the fabric pots?

My primary reason for getting away from them is the issue with roots getting into the valve. It can go either way and dry out your mama or flood your growspace. That copper felt pad is a must have to keep the roots in check.

Good luck and post lots of pics!

Thank you. I look forward to my future failures and successes with equal fortitude:)

The exoerience from you lot Will most likely prove invaluable.

Waiting for my waaay to old but hopefully not autos to germinate. I also heard rumours about some seedlings coming my way. I will try my luck with the autos while I wait for the seedling. Hopefully it will make for a Nice Mum for a few and give me many more babies :)

The 24W LED I ordered in good faith, turnes out to be a CFL. I put a SJ 26W TLED in there instead and The Nelson Garden 24W CFL kit ended up in my kitchen :)

That mistake set me back a SJ 26W TLED. Lesson learned.
I have one temp/hygro inside The tray and one for The tent. I will Get a thermostat for The heating mat aswell, but this stuff Is expensive :)

Today was a good day. I noticed one of the seeds had been buried more shallow than the others, and Lo! There was nature at work. The seed sported a nice lil' pecker. Turned off the heating mat as it went over 25c, gonna switch on/off between 20-25 until I get a thermostat. RH is about 70% inside the dome and 40% in the tent. Today is a GOOD day :D

Things seem to be gooing nicely. I am surprised at how fast they came alive once germinated. 3 out of 4 thus far. The third is only visible through The Dirt.

Progressing nicely into week two. To my untrained eyes it would appear as if They stretch a little and leaning heavy to one side. I lowered The LED and turned The tray 180 Degrees. My guess is The mylar reflected more on one side while airing The tent.

Welcome to the farm... looks like they may be leaning to avoid some light... maybe lower the intensity a bit and see how they respond

Thank you. I had my doubts on how low I should hang the light. Maybe raise the light back up. I use a 26w TLED...I dont have a dimmer for it. Maybe I should get a CFL for the seedings and clones instead?

I Will tale another pic tonight after work. Hope I dont scorch them ot something
..

Looks like Canadian Aquaman was right. Thank you :) I moved the LED to the top and the next morning things where shaping up.

They grow fast :)

What are these lighter green spots? Is it normal or should I act somehow?

I have probably been lucky not to have killed them. They have been through too early transplanting, over and underwatering, way too low RH during day and when I close The tent at night, The humidity rises to somewhere between 70-90%. How do you keep a stable climate? The temp and RH is about just over 20c and 40% with The tent open and just up Up and away when I Seal it. If I leave a little open it seem fine, but what about light?

These bastards are flowering about there weeks in and I have four new babies in veg. I am LST´ing one of them, topped The other and The third was a Half azzed fimming. The last is The phattest of The quadruple. It is my Holy Mum One. She resides in a 9 liter airpot filler with Lechuza TerraPon and has grow to The fifth node and almost 20 cm. Over 5cm taller and much phatter than The ones in coco and perlite. They all germinated at The same time with only a couple of days in between. Mum One was started from seed in TerraPon in The 9l airpot. Pictures are coming. Has anyone else any experience with LechuzaPon? It would sees to my inexperienced eye that this stuff is gold.
