I have some clones under a 400hps and they are going well,I need to switch over to the bigger led to cover my grow tent area.my main question is can I switch over without any problems?what percent should I start the led light intensity?and how high off the clones should I keep light at?it is labeled a 720w for a 4x4 or 5x5 grow tent.i have a 5x5...

It’s a whole different grow between hps and led. You need to run temps higher with led. Roughly around 82 to 84 degrees. The vpd chart helps.

thank you

I wouldn’t run your temps at 80f & above not with a led that’s silly bro science.

VPD is a guide

Ask any of the knowledgeable growers here and you get roughly the same reply 80f is the max I would run my tent

In seedling stage when they just popped I’ll keep it at 80f for a few days however that gets dropped when there a few days old.

74-80f ok you can do as low as 65-80f however optimal results are around the 74-77 mark

Yes I’ll agree halide/hps is different to led

your main problem will be getting used to the intensity of the led

Never run it at max setting you’ll fry your plants & keep it 24”-36” away
ignore manufacturers guides of 12” away

50%-75% would be fine for there age albeit some might advise only 50% atm
