Today was an easy day. Cleaned out the 32 gallon RO water barrel and made another 15 gallons. Should be enough to get me through this run and the humidity add for the drying tent.

The total average of temp sensors has hit my imposed limit for drift. Tonight will be a zero point night. After lights out will zero temp and humidity sensors. 5 vivosuns, 3 ACI and 5 grovee cubes. nor going to move the new humidifier in the drying tent will just check that with a cube.

Update.
Fed untopped plant 1.8 liters at week 8 foop. Plant still presents at least 2 weeks later than topped plant. Filling out nice and when touched smell is yummy.

Topped plant very close not ready for ferts. Looks very nice.

87 days chop.
Cut crown top off for wet trim clearance between top flowers. They had overgrown
Cut rest of plant whole and wet trimmed faded and dead stuff as well as any remaining fans and larger sugars. Not much trimming pretty much fouled the pair of cutters and it's loaded with glue.

Single plant gets all the attention.
34k on top of ICBM and 30k on sidelights.

Update
Rotated 90 degrees. Thinking gunna leave it there as it does split the plant pretty much in 1/2 and the weakest light on the outside is 20k but on the outside it is on both sides of the run.
32 k tops and the sides of the middle are at 28 k all the way down from sidelight of top panel.
Sidelights take over 13 inches down and 30k to 20k into the dirt.
I am loving the classic apple fritter cones on this plant. All 13 of them.

Update
Plant doing well. I love the reactions to side lighting but it is not going to replace LST.
To much area spent on one plant for this to be any part of a plan. It is pretty Kool watching this thing grow. Glad I took the opertunity to add to the knowledge base.
Sucker still bulking up.

Update
Fed week 9 foop at 6.32 pH adjusted
Lights down to 30k and a lot of the plant is right near 30k
Plant starting to contract and pistles receding. Waiting on plump up.
Starting to see last gasp pistles erupting on tops.

Update
Light reduction continues. Down to 28k lux on all lights.
Flowers are sprouting new random last chance pistles.
Retraction of stems continue and plant is almost back into the footprint of the 5 gallon pot.
Have been doing some research on ended stage flower to understand why my flowers dry down to loose buds. It seems that there are many reasons for this including nutrition and transperation rate. Strain also seems like a big part of flower stacking. Resin production in the last 2 weeks seems to be the real reason buds can get tight. As the plant dries the resin crystalizes during the cure causing the buds to shrink and harden up. The resin has more weight than the vegetation and does not shrink as much. As these last 2 plants are the first ones to show the plumping from the resins I am hopeful I am going to get some more quality flowers.

Update
Sugar check underwhelming but it is still early.

Update
Lights down to 27k tops and sides. No feed yet. Plant seems to be stalled. Both lights and nutes reduced just like last 3 plants.
Donno. Better be worth the wait
In weight.😜

Update
Fed plant 1.5 liters foop at week 8 strength pH adjusted one shot to 6.33
Adjusted lights to 25k tops and 27k side lights. Lights lowered on top panel at 25% and at 37% on sides.

Plan modification for this pheno continues. Today's amendment includes stripping lower bud sites farther down than 3 inches from bud run tops. These lower fill in with loose larfy growth that does not deliver any weight and would love having any tiny growth go elsewhere. Nitrogen add will now continue on a more aggressive profile for longer. Side lighting worked well and has bulked up side runs but having 230 watts running on one very small plant is an indulgence I will not make again.

Trimmed plant in drying tent 7 grams trim for brownies and 59 grams buds. For one plant I only had 2 trimmers and this frosty bud was fouling them in 2-3 minutes. Had to clean in between and that sucks.
Fed last plant 1.8 liters foop at week 8 strength. pH adjust found low reading. Calibration found pH went from 6.07 to 6.24 after cal.
Rechecked lights 28k all around.

I totally agree OGK. Like when does a seed come in contact with paper towels in nature? Come on that's silly.
But not really.
When a seed splits in nature a portion of the seeds fail due to orientation of the tap root. If the root is up it fails. But I nature there are dozens and dozens of seeds so it does not matter.
I want to ensure the tap root is facing down and that the depth is appropriate. I can only do this by germinating outside of dirt and placing it in dirt.
There are many ways to get here and if they work all are valid

Yep. I agree. If you are so so careful, using sterile tweezers, you can control where the taproot goes with no problems whatsoever

update
Max pour for the grow last feed has the plants not ready yet. Pistles retracting and buds getting plump. near total fade on sugars at this point hut a review of online pics suggests I am not the only one.

fed last plant 1.8 liters foop at week 8 strength ph adjusted to 6.22
lights all at 32k the whole plant.
smells fantastic
looks fantastic
This will be last feeding with nutes as they will be chopped by next wednesday. If it needs water and it should thats all it gets. Even this pour I did it more for the sugars portion than anything

Update
4th plant is ready but I am not. Going on vacation and the person staying at the house is an idiot that I can not trust to even burp a fuggin jar. My plan was to chop on next Wednesday and put in tent to dry while on vacation. Most of these dries took 7-10 days and that would have been perfect as I have between the 2 humidifiers 4.8 gallons on app controls and at 62% with the tent and 54% in the lung room it would last all vacation.

Even Monday morning would be fine as that would be 10 days but that's 5 days from now.
Sigh. Best plant of the whole run.

Front plant looks good put still ok.

Sprouts taking off.
View attachment 2438696

Lights 300 watt array 71%30k lux at tops. A lot of fans at 25K and 15K at lowest new growth
Sprouts to 10k lux. Maintaining 1.1 during day and 1.0 at night

Tent transition at night with new strategy worked well. Started cooling lung room and removed heat so only lights on for 30 minutes.

I was just curious if it’s really necessary to have all this equipment you guys all sound like you’re scientist I’ve been growing my plants using 2/30 LED lights in a small corner in my downstairs basement a little bit of aluminum foil on the walls and a $15 wall fan. This is my second crow. I’ve already produced about 25 g. They’re small plants but they grow very fast they’re all autos. I don’t understand all these tents and extra equipment maybe I have a lot to learn, but I am doing fine

I am a high tolerance medical user. I use cannabis to stay off opioids.
25 grams would last me 5 days. I am working up to 3 grows a year but each grow needs to be about 600 grams.
I also view this as a hobby and by far it's the cheapest hobby I ever had. I have bought only 1.5 oz and some oil concentrate in the last 5 months saving me lots of money at the dispensary.
