Update
4th plant is ready but I am not. Going on vacation and the person staying at the house is an idiot that I can not trust to even burp a fuggin jar. My plan was to chop on next Wednesday and put in tent to dry while on vacation. Most of these dries took 7-10 days and that would have been perfect as I have between the 2 humidifiers 4.8 gallons on app controls and at 62% with the tent and 54% in the lung room it would last all vacation.

Even Monday morning would be fine as that would be 10 days but that's 5 days from now.
Sigh. Best plant of the whole run.
What if you water the plant fully the day you leave for vacay, then just let it slowly dry out while your gone? Shorten light cycle to 12/12 at 40% power. Something like that. Chop when you get back. Bet it would be fine!

I agree with ya @JIMKSI64 about needing enough medicine!!
@Bozzin you can see why he is using the equipment. First of all its his journal, keeps notes by posting.....secondly, it helps grow more quality medicine and saves money in the long run

@Bozzin please fire up your own thread and keep us posted

Being as I use a relative, who does not grow, to water and check my plants (leaving this Monday for 7 days) I like to turn the lights down by 20% and water the evening before I leave. Leave easy instructions for watering on Thursday morning. Fans are dialed down a bit too. Last 3 vacations have turned out fine.........well except for the last one 🤦🏼‍♂️

Hello THC farmers.
Starting my first grow journal for documentation. I am a new grower for Cannabis but have grown for for 30 years.

First grow was small tent White Widow Photo. That grow is in cure jars with 7.5 oz useable buds and trim. Went with Autos for the time frame I have.
Popped 6 Apple fritter that a web site had listed as fire but the forum said If you can get them to pop. I had no trouble other that expecting trouble so I only had soil for 4 5 gallon fabric pots. Ran to a local provider and got some more.
4x4 tent with 3 lights. Biggest is a 400 watt panel mounted to the ceiling but I do have tethers. 2 smaller lights at 150 each giving me 700 watts. 6 inch exhaust set up for top extraction and 4 inch mounted for bottom extraction. I also have a moveable floor I can set up 18, 11, and 7 inches from tent floor. This 3 door tent with raised floor is the only way I can maintain plants as I have a long history of back problems.
Soil is fox farms HF/OF at 75/25 mix with added perlite. Watered from bottom first and let settle. I use a divot of seedling mix and place popped seeds directly in pots.
Environment is controlled by both Vivosun app and an ACI app. Vivosun runs lights and fans ACI runs the thermoforge and the cloudforge boxes as well as handling alerts to my phone when grow goes out of specs. Tent is in a basement bedroom that has a direct exchange with rest of basement on demand. I had trouble modifying the whole basement and humidity gave me problems so new location.
Tools I use include apera 60 pH kit but I do not PH water during Organic grows until I add stuff. Light meter is a lux meter and I use that as a benchmark not as a goal or target. The plant will tell me what it wants and can stand. I did make several lux maps so I can pick a couple of areas for data and not have to visit every top.
I will top dress week 3 with EWC and a soil conditioner that I have used for years that hits all the marks with poop from every corner of the planet. For flower nutes I use foop bloom nutes which are a pour fish poop and sugar 3 part kit. Expensive but the top dressing liquids were so smelly I choose this due to natural mint as a cover.
Ipm is a 3 zone system I found in a journal during research. Outer band includes honey traps to attract bugs and chemicals to kill them. Medium IPM is a self closing door and all holes in this room have been sealed or on a filter. All walls both side have been hosed with defender insect crap that is pet friendly for my buddies. Inside protection is sticky traps and insect screens on any entry. Fruit fly attractors on top of tent and glowing flying traps on 2 walls.
I am a data hound and if you follow me I will bore you if you do not like numbers. I maintain my PH tools with calibration but I also calibrate my environmental tools. Temp and humidity sensors have 2 problems. Accuracy and drift. Out of the box I mean right on the box they tell you this is +-2 degrees. And +-1% RH. I zero my temp and humidity sensors (5 app and 3 growee cubes ) and once the comparative math shows a reduction from zero of more than 10% I calibrate my sensors again.
Plan on the fritters is 18-6 the whole grow. Only change will be spectrum. I am hoping the stretch will match the WW grow as these nutes really delivered.

I followed a guy on another forum that tried this and it did not work well. He had pm in a substantial part of his grow. He followed a plan on a journal..
I myself think he reduced airflow too much but also he had a full scrog 4x4 stuffed full not a single plant like I do.

Bozzin.
I did not mind your question as it was a valid point. Why do we do this the way we do this.
Now you ask questions about YOUR grow in my diary.
This is an extremely rude thing to do. Please post any questions you have about YOUR grow in your own diary or in your own topic or in the Trainwreck thread.
In addition this is a very easy task that requires no questions or input. Information and pictures are very available online with just a search. I suggest you do some research to increase your knowledge of very basic grow points.

Sorry, I ruined your day, buddy

I am a high tolerance medical user. I use cannabis to stay off opioids.
25 grams would last me 5 days. I am working up to 3 grows a year but each grow needs to be about 600 grams.
I also view this as a hobby and by far it's the cheapest hobby I ever had. I have bought only 1.5 oz and some oil concentrate in the last 5 months saving me lots of money at the dispensary.
So you mean to tell me you smoke over 1 ounce a week that’s a lot of smoke. Good luck to you buddy.

So went on vacation and ran out of water in the dehu. Humidity was pretty steady till it crashed.
All the way to 60.5 for 3 hours. Was 3 hours off on projected use over an 8 day period.

Last plant trimmed and in the jars. 78 grams flowers and 10 grams trim for brownies. Best plant with best finish so far. I did break the top cola up so just buds in a jar but the top weighed 25 grams alone.

Next run as many Apple fritter autos as I can with 2 tents and 3 lights. 7 should be no problem but I have pots and dirt for 10. Will do 4 plants with foop and the rest will be dr earth gold and flower with EWC for extra nitrogen as these Fritters are nitrogen hogs.

This Apple Fritter grow sounds like a fun project! I love how autos can deliver such great results in a relatively short time. Looking forward to seeing how your 4x4 tent handles them and the final bud pictures. Good luck with the grow!

I am not impressed with the yield on autos. Even with the last plant going to just over 3 oz my average for photos is 5 oz and not that much longer. Autos are just tiny plants. Actually doing the next run to use up the seeds.
