I expect that it will start to flower in the next 2 weeks so this will be my last trimming.
I'm hoping getting rid of the leaves will give more energy to the branches.
Time will tell.
I'm definitely going to grow photo next time autos are to quick.

I've done that to my young plants before, they'll come out fine. Give them time and a heavy feed, watch 'em take off.

They seem to of taken the trimming pretty good.
I'm thinking they will flower in about 2 weeks I'm hoping they gain some height.

The 1st week before you see a ton of flower pistils they'll explode with a stretch. All auto's I've grown have at least doubled their size in that week. Most have tripled their height.

That's what I'm hoping for..
I topped early so it's fully healed for the last burst.
I'm definitely going with regular seeds next grow I want more time to veg.

The plants took the trimming good so I did it again..
Let's see if I create more bud sites.
I got about 2 weeks until flower so it should be healed by then I think..lol

They took the trimming good.
I think I'm going to leave it along now and wait for it to flower.
We will see if the extreme trimming stunted the growth.

How close is your light? Moving your light further away will cause the plants to stretch a bit more. I’ve grown autos and they are a hard pass for me. Happy grows.

This is my first grow and I have to agree I don't think I'm going to grow autos again there just isn't enough time.
The light is 24" above highest plant as per specs.
I topped and extreme trimmed the fan leaves and your not supposed to do that from what iv read but I'm a rebel so I did it anyways..lol
I'm hoping I didn't stunt them but they are small plants anyway should be 20 to 24".
First experiment and there still alive I call that success..!

My first grow was also autos. I know what you mean about not enough time. Not enough time to top, not enough time to recover from a problem.

I think the best plan for a 4x4 with autos is to do a SOG approach - lots of plants, little training. In coco, probably.

Almost forgot about my diary.
In the last 16 days I stripped all the leaves off twice and topped a couple more times.
I'm sure iv stunted the growth as it's a auto and shouldn't of been cut at all..lol
My first grow has taught me that weed is hard to kill and autos suck there too small and not enough time.
Pistols have started time to flower!

I'm going to leave 4 plants alone now that the pistols have started but my mad scientist in me wants to see what will happen if I strip the plant down and leave all the plants energy to the bud production and max air flow and light.
I will continue to strip the one plant as the leaves grow until harvest.

Leaves are growing back I'll wait another week before cutting the leaves off again only on the one plant.
