You did the right thing. Transplanting autos is not the way to go. Don’t listen to all what people say here :) transplanting autos might stunt and it’s not what you want. You just got to remember to water the plant and not the pot. Start with 30-40ml a watering and go up from there. And always around the plant. Good luck buddy!

Say what you will folks but your seed company is way more important than your paper towel method. Never used them. I use strictly ILGM seeds . Six grows since I switched to them and ZERO seed failures. No complex procedure. Soak in water in a dark covered cup until you see it pop. Plant in quality soil. Wait . Water lightly so it stays moist. That's it. No trick. 100% on six grows of 10-15 seeds per grow. Results don't lie.

Hi all

I have started my first grow tent and will update through out the process.

Feel free to give opinions on my progress as knowledge leads to bigger buds and happier times..!

Some info on my setup:
Tent: 4x4x6
Light: mars hydro 2000
Exhaust: mars 4 inch with charcoal filter vented outside.
Pots: 3 gallon
Timmer: 18hrs on 6 hours off
Seeds: auto critical fast bud
Soil: nature's organic mix

I'm setup and seeds are in soil.

I soaked seeds for 12hrs and then put into soil.
I choose to germinate this way in hopes to prevent movement.
A friend germinated in a paper towel and it didn't go so well.
I plan to keep soil moist continuously until I see the sprout.

I would like advise on watering, temp, humidity, light distance, when and how much to top, nutrients etc...

My first crop will be a learning experience..

I look forward to uploading weekly to my diary..!!!View attachment 1211497View attachment 1211498View attachment 1211501View attachment 1211502View attachment 1211503View attachment 1211499

Great advice!

Unfortunately I forgot to update the forum.

This crop was amazing I really abused these plants and still got 8 mason jars full of good hardy buds.

I remembered this forum because I'm starting a new grow with the exact same seeds check it out for comparison I won't be topping these plants.

I started a post in autoflower section but I think it's best to continue my 2nd grow in the same post as the first grow so the comparison is easier to see.
There will be 2 differences the 2nd grow will have automatic watering system and I'm using coco coir instead of soil.
I soaked my critical fast auto seeds for 24hrs in water and put them in the coco once they sprout I will start to use the watering system.
Let's see if not topping make a difference.

14 days in and some bad news.
I wanted to see the difference with outdoor and indoor grow so I placed 3 outside and 3 in my tent.
The 3 outside didn't make it as it down poured when I was at work and killed the seedlings.
So what I learned is I don't like growing outside..lol
The small seedling is afgan auto and the other 3 are critical x auto fast bud.
I had 1 afgan seed so why not.

Great growth for just 3 weeks. Really interested in those tubes that feed the plants. Is there a reservoir outside of tent with a pump?

I bought a automatic watering system on Amazon for 65 dollars.
I fill the white garbage pail with water and 1 tube goes in and the other tube goes to the tent and branches off.

It works great but I don't use it until it requires more watering or I have to go out for a couple days.
Right now I just water once a day if that this coco holds water much longer then soil.

27 days in.
I have some burnt spots as I had my lights to high and to close.
I misted the plants and the drops acted like magnifing glass..
Lowered lights to 50% and raised them up

Have you considered moving the tent so that you don't have to use as much ducting? It will improve the efficiency of your fan and help massively with air circulation.
