4x4 tent, air cooling with filter questions

So I am currently using a 4x4 tent and a 6 inch 600w hps for flower, and im cooling it the ghetto way with ducting and a small fan with a clip, which works just fine for me, but I need to step it up with a carbon filter so if I were to buy a 4in fan and a piece of ducting to make it fit 6in ducting would the 4in can fan have enough power to pull through my light and the carbon filter for it to work well enough to eliminate odor? Or should I just suck it up and buy a 6in set up?

suck it up and buy the 6 inch fan and a can33. if you ever decide to upgrade to a 1,000w you won't have to upgrade your fan or filter. Look for the ostberg/eclipse fan, it's a white 6 inch inline that pushes 630cfm and it costs around 200 bucks. the high output 6 inch canfan only does about 440cfm and it's like 230 retail.
