How’s ya ph goin? I’d back them lights way off man till ya get on top of the problem high light plus problems just accelerates things hope you get on top of it mate I’d say it’s to much light more than nute burn but just my opinion wait for a few others to chime in👍

Agreed
Brought par down to 500 light running at 58% now
Was time to mix nutes, so instead running strait water for a dy or 3

if I understand this , plants were 6ft tall.

At this time 4/27 they were almost into the led lights at the height in photo now and you have bent plants down to his new height.

Incurred burning.

You mention 600 par , imho this is low.
With the size of flowers you have 8-900 would be and easy push.

Unless you grew those flowers into the led bulb I would say you have burnt them elsewhere.

By par you mean PPFD?
How are you measuring light intensity?
What's the EC and PH of your feeds ?
What media are you using?
What's the temperature and RH ranges during lights on?

Edit - curious what that plastic cup hanging is doing?

Plastic cup shields the probe from the gavitas from direct light to provide more ambient temps...

Growing in 2.8 gallon pots with bioall365 soil
Watering/feeding wirh floraflex drip emitters on timeR timers

They were 6' in veg tent and not burnt....

Temps do not exceed 93°
Humidity 65%

Havent measured feeds in a while

Thinking about it.... probably over nutes...
Considering no burn when the plants were dam close to the lights

Never hit par in the 800's

93f temps indoor can be rough for many cultivars, without CO2 aim for min 78f max 83f with LED.

It's seems to me the leaves are transpiring faster than the roots can uptake water. Also the leaf surface temperatures must be really high making it worse.
Causing the severe taco and drying the outer margins of the leaves.

They aren't doing well with the environment imo.

Raising the lights (less intensity) and control the heat would be first things I would do.

Btw nutrients burn doesn't look like that, it start with burn tips, dark green leaf, than clawing leaves , than other leaf damage but it takes a while.and it's pretty easy to see it when it happens.

Turn that fan on low too, too much wind will make it worse.

Post progress, the damaged leaves will not recover but the buds will grow larger for sure ;-)

I'm new on this forum. Not an expert by any...but, the plants in the 2nd pic look about 3' tall, and you bent 6'-ers to that much? Is this common practice? Is this HST? Do you think there is shock and reduced flow past the bend? Please excuse my ignorance if this is common. I do some FIM-ing and LST early in veg.

@jamesmost - I see indications of light stress. I snipped the image below from one of your pictures. In it, the leaves are curling and tilting upward. That's how they protect themselves from the light. It could be they lack some critical nutrients such as magnesium, but the quickest way to help is to lower the light intensity.

Wow, 6ft tall plants, hats off to you. Looks like you're along the lines with my style, I go whole plant, let them fill out, some bending/training....

I'm about to flower my first run in a long time. Most things are exactly the same as 30+ years ago, but there have been some new surprises. One of them is the power of today's top tier LEDs. I have an HLG Scorpion Diablo (scary, right?). Everything was fine at 20%. After about a month I went to 40%. This was at least 3ft above the plants.......well, I made a mistake and went to 60% power. I caught it very quickly but 60% was too strong. Went right back down to 40%. A couple of weeks later I figured now let's try 60%........nope. Too strong. I still can't go to 60%. Maybe at 4ft above the canopy......

I also have an HLG Rspec (my closet is 6' x 12').........and I haven't even turned it on yet.

And can I as what that plastic cup is hanging down the middle?

Ok....
A couple weeks ago I "adjusted" the ac infinity exhaust fan to go on full power when exhausting on high temp/humidity settings
Was on 3 up-to 10...
So there is the too fast evap cooling theory..

I think more evap/cooling issue then light.

Either way, dialed things back a bit on all fronts and will ease back in....

Def not nute deficiency,
Running strait water for a day or 2

Dialed down exhaust fan speed and raised the humidity level on exhaust

Also tilted tent fan off plants

Good one, I'm sure the buds will swell ok, the yield will suffer a bit for this round but still gonna get a good amount of great buds.

Cheers!

One question, before u bent them, when they where tall, how close they were to the lights? And how much ppfd? Just trying to understand better witch combining factors have caused this.

They were 6" from lights but that was 4 weeks ago....
I've been there b4 wirh no issue....

Ddnt want to grow Them that tall but ya know mind of their own and I was waiting to clear the big tent.

I don't know for how long at 6" they were, but this is very close to those leds for sure.

What could had happened tho is when they were tall and got too close to light they got damaged ("skin burned"), but only started to show the light burns discoloration after you bent them. The damage was already done but pigment loss and leaf frying toke a bit longer to show maybe?
Not every cultivar can take lots of lights, in fact some are really sensitivity even in a short period.

But also obviously after bent in The flower tent the environment wasn't dialed in for sure.

High humidity coupled with light proximity.
