5 weeks into flowering, is it too late to cut popcorn sites?

Hey guys, my girls are 5weeks into flowering now in soil. Thinking if it's ok to cut the popcorn bud sites now or whether it's too late. Anyone know if this will improve the top colas or have bad effects on the plant generally.

Probably not much now. Should have done it weeks ago.

When the tops of the plants are finished harvest the main cola’s. That will expose those lower immature buds to more light and then they to will swell in to something worth harvesting.

It’s selective harvesting. Many folks do this. I typically harvest a single plant twice, and depending on the plant sometimes three times before the stalk is chopped.
