there's a bunch you could change, but why? what you're doing looks to be working well for ya. Are you getting what you'd like yield wise? The plants in the pictures look to be well formed and not air-y at all. So i would think yield would be pretty good.
I'll be getting CO2 into my next run but i've read that the plants can stand being a little hotter if you are using CO2. Not sure if that's totally accurate though.
but i'm subscribed, i cant wait to see how the CO2 affects the grow.
my lumatek bulb burnt out yesterday after only 2 months
and they cant say its cause of the ballast because i use only lumatek..
this sucks and since i bought it off the internet i have to ship it to them and they got to ship me a new one so im looking at a week maybe more down one light
oh man, I just fired up a lumatek 600W HPS about 4 weeks ago. It's also running off a lumatek ballast so I'll have to keep a good eye on it.
If you can you should go buy a new bulb and use the replacement one for a back-up or something. The Hortilux eye bulbs are kickin some ass for me so far. I bought two Hortilux super HPS 600W bulbs and one lumatek High Par 600W. They all seem to be doing pretty good but the 600W Hortilux is holding it's weight against a 1000W mystery bulb i got given to me and just started using this cycle.
"Hey you guys ever had this problem?> you make to much clones because you think to much is better than not enough and then when it comes time to pull the ones you dont need you cant do it.
Well that happened to me so now my veg room is a flowering room and my extra bathroom is my new veg room... ahhaha"
Hahaha...that's funny!
So, have you seen any difference since you put in the CO2?
sorry for the delay but heres an update. the big ones are about a week out from harvest the little ones are in week 3 or 4 of flowering i think, and the medium sized ones are only 4 days behinde the big ones but they have been groing under florescent untill just recenty. the Gravity additive i am using seems to be working good but i am running into a mold problem and i might have to harvest early. enjoy the pics.
just switch strains to Humbolt Kush... looks promising.... the big batch in back is the last of the dutch passion blueberry(GOOD RIDDANCE)..... enjoy the pics
I've been growing a strain for a few runs from seed that I got from a friend who claimed they were Blueberry. I didn't really believe him for a couple of reasons.
One was that I didn't know or think that Blueberry grew magnum wine bottle sized buds. Another was that, while when cured it does smell very "fruity", I don't know that I would say it smells like blueberries. another reasonis that he's a fuckin liar.
Well...turns out I guess it is Blueberry. My buds look very much like yours but bigger since I'm growing trees.
I also have the same complaints you do...especially the relative airiness of the buds. I mean they're solid and massive but the bracts don't get huge. The buds aren't solid and meaty.
And..I too am just harvesting the last run of it and am moving on to something different.
I do have some femmed seeds of the blueberry. Sure would be nice to cross it with a kush and get the offspring to grow those HUGE buds..only in a kush!!!
nice one corey..i have decided to use the 6s i have now...was trying to decide what to use as i have a plethora...gonna go w the 6s now..i think ill prob use 4...ur room is almost exactly what im doing, and this is gonna be my first real grow...
room was just built and painted, doing elec this weekend...so u think a 10 x 10 x 8 in basically a square room...4 6s be ok in that? we were thinking maybe a 1000 and 2 or 3 6s...its a bucket system that is a flood type set up i believe..not sure as i havnet run it yet, just got stoked out by the homie w the gear to use....so i built a room!
