Hey all!

How many plants would you recommend growing comfortably with 500 sq. Ft of space?

Cheers!

Your style of growing will affect your plant count.. And how many lights you will be using..
You need tell give more details..
Peace

Not too sure yet. Just wanted to see if anyone has utilized 500 sq ft, and could recommend how many 1000w lights would be best for that space? Thinking of just going soiless with 5 gallon buckets??

Thanks again!

I have not used HPS lighting for 8 years or so.. I believe 1000Ws covers a 5 x 5 area..
Your plants may cover 4 x 4 area.. Depends on how long you veg. them and topping and whatever else you want to do..
Lotsa variables in growing..
Peace

This topic being kicked around right now here. Stay 500 and under or go bigger? Can you make a buck at 500 ft?

Alaska's regs are final and license apps will be taken later this month. One such license category is cultivation. Two license types, big or small. Here in the panhandle, we are a rain forest, so mostly indoors. When initially proposed, the smaller license was less stringent in terms of "rules" and record keeping. However upon final passage, same rules for everybody.

The space will have to accommodate, clones, vegging and flowering, so maximizing the space is critical. Some stacking will need to take place, so ceiling height could be an issue. If they allow off site cloning later on, that would be a plus. But nothing yet.

Application fees have not been addressed as yet. The bigger license will obviously cost more, a lot more.

So what does your ideal 500 sq ft space look like?
