So i'm not well versed in it but its my understanding it prevents photorespiration and keeps plants in their most productive level of photosynthesis. With that being said unless you have very high lighting i cannot see a benefit to this. Just my uneducated opinion but I would welcome some information as to what benefits you may achieve by doing so. Always open to infoHi guys . Just thought I would see if anyone has run that cycle and their thoughts but decided I would give it a go and see what happens . I’m running 2x HLG 288 4000k at full power in a5”x5” tent . I ran these same lights at same power on my last Veg grow and they loved it . So thought I would swap the cycle and do a testSo i'm not well versed in it but its my understanding it prevents photorespiration and keeps plants in their most productive level of photosynthesis. That’s why I thought I would try 6:2 with them lights . Pretty intense light and give them a breather after 6 hours for 2 and then light again fOr another 6 and so forth . Worth a try seeing as the lights outperformed my expectations on the first lot of girls running them on 14.5/9.5 of light to suit the daylight hours we have so they Veg more for our season in Australiayep i got it. i think right light for the job.
