6 week old flowering plant. Able to clone or not?

I wouldn’t, maybe weeks 1-3 MAYBE. I go 2 week max. But you just throw the cutting with nitrogen after it roots under 24 veg for 6-7 days and then switch back to 18/6 or stay 24 if u prefer.

Alright now i know not to go to long i just figured it is a lower branch and its not gonna get to big so id clone it but ill just leave it thanks

If it’s a straggler chop it! If there’s not enough light reaching thru ur canopy ull have more growth on top sites by removing small beaches that won’t produce much!
week3 on my girl and just gave her aHUGE defol.

hell yeah she lovely i did that to one of my 6 wk old plants and stunted the growth. Regaurdless its my 2nd grow and i think i learned alot this round. check this out!

yes you can make clones at any time although not preferred when budding. I've done it dozens of times. put clones on 24 hrs with florescent light.

Absolutely! I've never cloned anything much past three or four weeks but there's plenty of people who have, just takes a little longer that's all, good luck

Yes, it will work. It will take longer for it to develop roots as the plants hormones switch back to veg, but once it starts to grow again, you'll see why they call this technique Monster cropping.

thanks for the info I read something on monster cropping that's what got my curiosity of doing it. I went ahead and clipped the lowest branch and just cut it at a 45 on the bottom didn't trim the leaves tips and put it in a water bottle to see if I can make it root!

I've cloned little lower branches with buds. They don't root as often as vegging plants, but they do OK.

I prefer to harvest, leave a couple of lower growing points and reveg — then you have multiple potential clones.

You can start revegging before you harvest — up to about 2 weeks. The plants won't revert to veg for 2 weeks. But it kind of freaks people out to turn back to 18/6 on flowering plants.

thanks for the info I read something on monster cropping that's what got my curiosity of doing it. I went ahead and clipped the lowest branch and just cut it at a 45 on the bottom didn't trim the leaves tips and put it in a water bottle to see if I can make it root!

Absolutely can be done. Just leave a good amount of air in the container and keep it dark. Leave minimal foliage and very weak light. I find the roots start just above the water line. Granted, these are not flowering, but I think the slightly woody stem on yours might help. I always "peel" my lower fan leavs off which pulls off a thin string of outer stem. I've seen people do it with a razor blade also. This "wound" is usually where the new roots propagate. That or where a node was removed.

Here are the same cuts after a month

I will reveg the lower branches and see what i can come up with. Thanks for the advice

Plain water. My tap is 40 ppm and 7.0 ph. The plants were about 6-7 weeks old. These were extra cuts that didn't fit in my clone dome so I figured why the heck not? Lol Its a much lower success rate than traditional methods but it can be done. I have supercropped plants in flower before when I didn't used to have the room to keep clones of everything before hand while mother hunting. Which is exactly what im doing now.
