600 watt led vs normal 600

Hello everyone I have a question. Is a 600 watt led at least as good as a 600 watt old school light. I am not looking to debate cost, but watt for watt are leds as good. I have read most threads and need this question answered please help.

600 watt High Pressure Sodium is normal 600?

Well too many variables. What brand LED are you looking at?

I could take 3 of my 180w Spectra LEDs and that would put out more weight and at a higher quality then my past grows using my 600w Eye Hortilux. HPS covered slightly larger area but my leds got larger, denser buds
