8 Plant Set Up

After much liberation for my 2nd grow I'm going to go with a 4x4 tent with 8 plants in 2 1/2 gallon pots with a kind 750 LED.
I'm looking to get atleast 2 ounces a plant. Does this seem correct.

Depends on how long you veg, and how you train/top.

I'll veg for 30 days. And I'll top twice before flowering and lollipop.
Also using nutrients and netting.

If I have the time, I top and veg until the plant is about 1/3 as tall as the max height that I can raise my light and still have 18 inches to the top of the canopy. The plant will double in size after the flip so if you veg for 30 days and its 4 foot tall and your max light height is 7 feet then you are gonna run out of room.

That was the problem I had with my first grow. The sativas got to tall I had to cut the top of my tent off. I figured I just didn't top well enough. Should I only veg for 3 weeks? Or maybe just grow indicas till I get better.

Veg until you are 1/3 away from the highest distance you can move your lights. That way when they double in size after the flip you still have room inbetween the light and canopy.
