been here a minute & figured it's time to flesh out the digs before busting out another journal.

my lab, the place where it all goes down, is in a detached garage.

as soon as i score a shed, i'll still have enough space to work on my cars... all the while keeping my two favorite things in the same space (fast cars & dank weed).

the lab is basically a large flower room with a veg cabinet inside.

in the winter the garage is butt fu*k cold, in the summer hot as all hades.

for enviro controls i use : oil filled radiator, portable air con, & a de-huey

10' x 7.5' x 8' main lab
3' x 3' x 6' secondary unit for small projects (seasonal)
3' x 2' x 5' tent for my two prized mother plants (24/7)

basics : 3x2 frame work, built modular, with osb on the outside.

osb outside > 6 mil plastic > framing > r15 > 6 mil panda inside

roof is fabricated with 1x3 latticed into an existing shelf system built in the 1950's... i used brackets found in the hardware store for extra support.

i have 2" tuff foam, foil side down, for the roof. next season, i'll drop 3" of fiberglass roll up top for extra toastyness.

room is built in a sealed style but uses intake & exhaust to get the job done. instead of two vents there are 3 ...an extra vent cut out to run closed loop, i keep it sealed right now.

fans are 400, 195, & 165 cfm ALL on router speed controls w/ brand new 18" carbon filter recently installed.

the project cabinet & veg cabinet (inisde the lab) have proper intake/exhaust venting using 80 cfm can fans.

lighting for flower :
(1) 600w digital HPS on a light mover
(1) 400w digital HPS cool tubes
(1) 250w MH internal ballast, old school

clone cabinet : t12 & t8 & various cfls on clamp lamps

mom tent : 250w MH

project cabinet : 150w HPS & clamp lamps if necessary

strains : a very special landrace afghan kush , sour d (clone only) , great white shark (shanti), advanced seeds kaya47, & sannie's jackberry

tables : 2 @ 3x2 (6x2) & 1 @ 4x2 : right now, i got the 4x2 broken down & some old moms in flower

rezzys : 3 @ 27 gall tuff boxes
pumps : 350 gph for the 3x2s & 400 gph for the 4x2
air pump : pro model, piston type, 6 on the manifold

i got my cut drama SOLVED ...& decided to start a permenant work journal.

...20 on the run (mixed tray, experimental)

...28 at the door (afghan kush)

can't wait to see if aero-cloning is all the hub-bub!

i'm not done making the holes... so no shit talk.

just so you see i got your tray :) i made the table from one of those high density plastic card tables found at walmart.

as soon as this fucking dirt is outta my life, the 4x2 goes straight back to work.

already planning a modular type scrog thing... my wife is actually stoked to hear i might only rock 8 or 9 plants. 3 in scrog a few weeks apart... the rest as small mothers from which i can rotate for giggles.

still, i'm rocking the trays till i have at least 12 big mason jars of properly cured, different dank to the head... & can still maintain that $ flip $.

too, i built the table for the 2 @ 3x2s to be utilized for scrog... everything in my lab is designed double duty.

i'm experimenting with a different heater tonight... if everything goes smooth i'll save 700w every 12 hours.

when you get smoked buy a duster with rust holes that runs low 9s & loose $500 in the process, you learn pretty isnt everything.

Box is probably about 75 pounds and pretty unwieldy to carry..........I'm 6'3, 250 and I just about blew my back out taking it into the garage ten minutes ago.

Looking good bro - is that afghan a legit 6.5 week'er? I've never come across a strain I felt was ready before 8.5 weeks, even the "advertised" 7 week'ers............6.5 would be the shit :)

5 to 10% amber at 6.5... i've run it two times before... so i can say with confidence for you 7 weeks.

point blank : no scope : go in & chop @ 7 weeks to the day.

25 to 40% amber, covered in trichs, like you greased her up & rolled her in sugar. and this pheno isn't the typical "earthy" afghan... its sweet & yummy & has a nice complex note on the smoke.

i want to get a couple of f2 packs of jackberry (sannie) to find a keeper male... & hit the afghan i got & the sour d.

when i popped mine, and o my mega stupidity, i had a phenominal jackberry male in my 10 beans & tossed that fucker ...but i wasn't thinking about making beans at that time.

wait till you grow out that real deal, clone only, sour d too :-) gonna put heads to bed... but not before a bowl of cereal :cake

we need to hook up in the next three weeks.

if not, no biggie, i'll get a fresh 50l of 'droton.

ever since i came to the farm (& as long as i dont get banned :-), picked up the mantra of simple, less is more, adding suppliments sparingly & like a quick punch, and some more... on & on type research stuff... my grow game is getting much better.

more consistent.
