Hey those lights look sick. I’m looking into building an led right now. The space I’m building is a 4’x8’ and I can’t find anything full spectrum that has a flowering foot print of 4x8. I plan on running 6 plants in there in dwc.

Are these l.e.d.'s even viable for a grow light.... Was thinking about using it for clones/seedlings

Honestly I don't know...
A have a friend that takes LED lights from old fixtures and TVs and makes his shop lights from that

Those lights are beasts, great job,
I’m putting together some gear to build a 300+w full spectrum on an aluminum angle frame , the type of lights they market as “commercial “fixtures, and charge 3x as much as the regular rectangular quantum boards,
Are there any sites or links anyone can recommend for direction, I am all over growmau’s stuff as well as greengeenes garden and led gardener on YouTube, but just kinda looking for a place where folks are actively building and discussing such builds and topics
Great builds btw, do you have a website where you sell those lights or just personal builds?

Would it be possible to take these led bulbs apart and make a huge grow light with them? They are super nice 110W led bulbs I got for free and they retail at 210$ Each and I have 7 of them, they are incredibly bright and have built in drivers

I just said fuck it and started taking the bulbs apart and found this thin aluminum picture plate thing to mount the light to. I only have attached two of them so far but when I’m finished it’s going to be 6 boards on this light. Do you guys think this is overkill?

If possible I would spread the six light fittings as far apart as I could, even a bigger plate if you can, that way you'd get a bigger footprint.
