A genetic anomaly possibly good or bad?

Hi guys and gals
A friend had found termites in his house. He cleaned out the storage room and found a film canister with seeds. Been there for 20+ years. I managed to get some growing . One of the plants has something I've never noticed before. Some of the leafs have buds sprouting. Any info people can share about this would be awesome

I’ve seen it before not massively and not just on old beans I guess it’s a genetic defect
