I chose my path and am today a better farmer for it. If I just blindly took a step by step "this is how you grow" approach to this I would never be able to stand on my own.

Wouldnt even think of it Cort. My suggestions are based on trying to be the most efficient. In my opinion all veg time is a waste if you dont have plant number limits. I am limited so now I veg. 4-6 weeks from cutting off the mom. Top once when small, lst, supercrop and I have a pineapple thats over four feet across. I have two of them crowding tge shit out of a four by four tray. Melvan im not saying your wrong I just do things different. You do what works for you Im cool with that.

Wow, just got back from my trip. Took longer than I thought it would but back at the garden

Found that at some point while a friend was tending my girls the lights stopped working. They have been in the dark for 3 days. Besides being a little yellow I see no problems. Some leaves look a little lifeless and limp but should snap out of it.

Watching close hoping the girls dont grow balls of fury.

Should I just continue on with 12/12 like nothing happened?

Mendo madness is getting big. Will be taking cuttings for sexing soon.

Been a few days. Girls doing much better now they are back on a proper lighting a feed regimen. They did suffer some damage though.

Here is one semi lolly-popped. I cut the flowers off and left some of the leaves. Solar panels and reservoirs... right?

I have no idea what day this is for the girls. 7-10 days in and the lights went dark for 2-4 days. Got some lil nugs forming fast.

Feeding
2 drops per gal superthrive
5ml cal mag
5ml silica blast
15 ml bloom
4 ml hydroplex
15 ml sweet
7 ml Karma

Last feeding was at 1250ppm, 5.7 ph and the girls are loving it. Just got my first barely burned tips so I will be cutting back the Cal-Mag, Karma and thrive so I can add 1ml more hydroplex and still drop ppm a little.


On a side note: My culled blue dream plants are still sitting in the closet taking up space. Can anyone give me tips on how to vend some babies or teens to clubs? Should I take a few in? Just bring pics? Inquire first?

wow cort, awesome job for your first grow.. i aucally jus ordered my ac 400 watt ballasté light kit the reflector pullys, bulbs, timer, nd socket tah boot haha.. so by friday i will have photos up on my first grow journal in the tent, other then the tent i alway did outdoors so im pretty stoked to see what happens.. with that my 4inch echaust fan blower with a 6inch to 4inch reducer and 6inch exhaust ducting is on its way as well all to arrive to a full grow tent and some happy to be to their new home clones in their new tent setup.. if all goes well im going to have 3 different hydroponic systems, 2 consisting of 8 plants each, and one consisting of 16 plants for the grand dam total of 32 beautiful plants.. hope your grow goes well cort, cant wait to see updates, ill be following.. happying growing:harvest:

Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate the kind words about my first grow, but take heart... I still have time to noob it up and kill them. Your post here reminded me it has been a while sense an update.

Day 53 plus or minus for the days the girls were in the dark. Have dropped the ppm to about 1k and giving extra drain to keep the coco clean.

One thing I did notice, the main colas are not as frosty as some of the lower nugs. Could being too close to the light burn off some of the trichs?
