Incredible musicianship on these tunes that were recorded with single takes in the studio with just one or two mics while they were performed in the early bare bones recording industry of jazz and blues music studios that were mostly in Harlem and Chicago, primarily in Harlem studios of the 30's/40's or Harlem jazz blues clubs these tunes were recorded at.
