I have a mark inside my tote that reflects about 1 inch under my pots.Hi, maybe a stupid question, but ... in that grow style, how do you control the water level. I would think the water level in the main res would dictate the level in your grow containers. The more I think about it is maybe you have a float valve in the res tank that is fed from another tank.
Anyway water level was the main reason I set up a dutch bucket type system. At times, I need my system to be 100% automatic for several days.

I fill to there and then let it drop 2 inches which is approximately 5 gallons, then top up as it goes.
Really only goes quick mid flower at 5 gallons every 2 days.
Will be leaving for a week for holidays, will add float valve and another tote for that episode.
Might need 10-15 depending.
