The only question is, why isn't every weed lover in America marching in the streets for this guy? He is the ONLY candidate who gives us the respect of understanding that the Constitution does not empower the Federal government to dictate what we put into our own bodies. He doesn't agree with abortion on a personal level, just as he doesn't advocate smoking weed, but most importantly he does recognize, and lives by, the ethic that it is none of the government's friggin' business! Not only does he talk the talk, but he has walked a very lonely walk for 20 years in that cesspool we call Congress. Anybody that hasn't taken the time to really listen to him (likely because they heard MSNBC or FOX call him a nut) is doing themselves and him a serious injustice. Google his comments on weed when he was on Bill Maher's show. You wouldn't believe the number of libs that are suddenly looking at him and listening to him for the first time and going "this guy's a Republican?"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHBCsPYuKIs
You could do the right thing and vote for Ron Paul. A guy who really cares about the country.
Make sure you become republican so you can elect Paul for the primaries. Ron Paul is NOT a conventional republican and owns everyone on the issues Americans care about.
Its that simple.
Not one single media outlet reported that Dr. Paul won the California straw poll, and yet, the first and only poll that the 6-6-6 Satan from the Dallas Fed (Herman Caine) won - in Florida, and suddenly he vaults to the front of the class... with the help of every major media outlet carrying his water. The MSNBC,CBS,ABC crowd would love Caine to win the nomination because he's about as electable as McCain was, which is to say he isn't, and they know that their messiah would eat Caine's lunch. And BTW, while I realize that Florida is a major electoral State...WTF do ya call Califrigginfornia?!?! How does that just manage to just silently slip off of the screen???Problem is, can he win?? According to the latest poll Ron Paul has less than 10% of the republican voters backing him. Romney and Cain have 25% each. Does he have the financial backing to get his message out. There needs to be a lot of $$$ thrown his way. If you want to see a mmj friendly candidate money talks and bullshit walks!!
I am a great proponent of bringing France's "National Razor" back into prominence where politicians who abuse the public trust are concerned. I think that we take a few Congressmen out front and bounce a few heads down the cobblestones, and they won't be so quick to sell us out to every lobbyist that swallows their knob. Maybe some serious reality TV in prime time will get the message out. We could put all of the out of work carpenters back on the job at the same time, building guillotines in front of every politicians' office across America. Just a little daily reminder for them to walk by on their way to work each day.I think the key is to limit terms of all elected officials to terms no longer than 4 years. You have all these antiques who have been in the senate and congress for like 40 years. That's a long time to be accepting bribes and favors. Boy would that throw a monkey wrench in the political works.......
And didn't that pretty much open the flood gates on corporate politician buying as well. Suddenly a legal entity that is nothing more than a paper condom has better protections than we do. Just how does a corporation deserve a higher level of Freedom of Speech than an individual citizen. It's a creation of lawyers, almost as ridiculous as the scrip that the Fed creates out of thin air.the key is to kill the lobby and to somehow undo what the supreme court did when they ruled that corporations have the same rights as individuals
As far as lobbyists go, that is what has caused most of our problems. For instance, the cost of an election, any election has skyrocketed to the point where the candidate cannot run a completive campaign without help from backers. Which brings on professional campaign fund raisers (lobbyists) and they seek corporate greed through closed door promises to help the corps by way of $$$. In a former life, before I was reincarnated as a pharmer, I saw this first had at the state level. To beat the government you must first go along with it, become part of it and overthrow it. If this doesn't make since it's Saturday night, I'm stoned and right now I don't give a shit!!Someone Please Email the Chinese & tell em We're Sorry & Forgive em fer Ruining our Credit Rating by forcing us to take the Money . Here all this time I just reckoned the Chinese Gave us the Money to show us their love . Crafty little fuckers they are ,,,
You are absolutely right, if the US doesn't cut the waste/fraud/inefficiency you had better learn to speak Chinese.

And thats exactly why we need someone like Ron Paul, becasue nobody wants him to win. After all, he is straight up ANTI big government, and pro individual rights and the free market.
I know he probably wont win, but I am definitely going to vote for him. Maybe, just maybe he can pull it off. Especially now withthe internet, we no longer are required to listen to mainstream media for our "facts".
Hell, Fox resorted to completely ignoring him when they reported the Iowa straw poll results. He was second by only about a percentage point, and yet they reported the next day who finished first, third, fourth and even fifth... woops, what happened to second? I think even Jon Stewart called them on that one, but it has't let up, it's only gotten worse.
Ok Capulator, I agree with you. But right now our voice is nothing more than a flea on an elephant's ass. So candidates like Paul can pick up a few extra votes vaguely supporting the cause. (what ever that is) I'm hearing that we are now a majority so why don't we make more waves at the ballot box. It's because we are to young or to stoned. Until we decide to to something about our rights, nothing will really ever get done. There is no such thing as medical alcohol because the public demanded a drink!!!!!!
This guy isn't a republitard . He is a republican in the truest sense. Constitutional Republic. Look it up. We don't live in a democracy. Never have, Never will. Unfortunately we have a supreme court that is highly politicized deciding what the constitution "really" says. Now we live in a corporate oligarchy. Look it up. Also when one is focusing on the Bush appointments for the supreme court and assessing the damage, look at the appellate court appointments. That is where most of the damage was done. It's the appellate courts that will shut down any attempt to hold any corporate entities responsible for anything. I'm kind of curious to see what Ron would be able to accomplish if he is elected president. I think the secret service would have their hands pretty full if he tried to do all of the things that he wants to do. What are we going to do with all of those DEA agents when they go into the real workforce with zero skills at anything but busting down doors and screaming. They all got that job so they wouldn't have to work. I can just see one of those guys on a construction site with his thumb up his ass wondering what to do and being dismayed at the concept of actual production. "Duh, I thought I was hourly. I didn't know I actually had to do something". Multiply that by the rest of the prison, military, health care, etc industrial complexes, and you are looking at huge unemployment. It's a shame that he is a Republitard. If not, there'd be a whole army of folks in the middle and on the Left supporting him by now.
