Hi- first time using a humidity dome. 1/4 of my seeds have popped but the rest haven’t. Should I gradually open up the dome or keep it closed until the rest of the seeds emerge?

Is there a reason you need the dome? A seed in the dirt doesn’t know there’s a dome, so it’s not necessarily helping (or hurting). How long has it been since you started?

After germination, I put in dirt 4 days ago and followed manufactures directions
4 days is nothing. Especially if you got the seed a little deep or your temps are low. Give it a few more days and hopefully they’ll be popping up.

Domes are generally used for clones when the plant has no roots. So unless you have really low humidity it’s best just to leave the dome off.

If you watered after dropping seeds check to see if the soil may have compacted. I've had that happen. Plus excessive depth could be the culprit or both. Rarely have I had a germinated seed fail to sprout by day 3. I now wet soil prior to sowing. I used a new seed starting mix awhile back that compacted. I used a fork to gently loosen/fluff the soil and saved it.
