Hi all, curious if there are any other ionframe evo users out there? I’ve used a ton of led lights and these suckers perform better than any other I’ve used.

So I have a 4x4 tent and have an ionframe evo 6. After two grows I’m finding the magic height and power are about 48” and level 3 brightness above the plant during veg. For flower I slowly bring them up 1 level every 3 days and keep my height about 24”. I can’t seem to get above level 8 unless I use co2. They do grow big buds though. See pics, these were grown without co2.

Can anyone else using lights share your height and power level settings?

I run a evo 3 in one of my 2x4s. I would like to put a evo 8 in my 5x5 but can not justify replacing the lux 645 I have in there.

I really wish I had purchased an evo 8’s for my 4x8 tent. I’d prefer to have light from edge to edge. How is the lux 645 compared to your evo 3?

It’s a really good light. It’s just nice to control the light from my controller. My luxx I run on a conventional timer.

You think this would work with their evo 4 in a 3x3 also?

Can I see how you have this setup? I have the 3x3 from ac and the evo 4 also
I’m guessing you are wondering how I adjust the height? I use the included mounting hardware and ratchet cords during veg then zip tie the crap out of it to secure it at the max height of my tent during flower. I always try to keep it at 100% power and adjust the height to get an ideal ppfd.

It looks like you have it mounted angled maybe just the pic

That’s what I was wanting to see first I’ve seen it mounted like that
I need the extra space. I like to let them bush and stretch. It really is great LED for a 3x3. I feel any larger LED in this side tent would cause too much top stress.

Debating getting 3 more Evo 4's. Then running this single bush again using half my 10x5 as a 5x5. Having four of these lights and being able to adjust height individually would be a dream come true.
I feel I held this one back too much. Never enough space...

I have the Evo 6 in my 4x4 and then got the Evo 8 for my 5x5. I like them both. I use a light meter to set by ppfd. I run around 900ppfd in flower. 300ppfd new, 650-750 in veg.

Some blue dream in week 8 flower.

How is everyone diggin’ their Ionframe?

I’m upgrading to a 4’x4’ tent, and wanted to get a serious light. Something that incorporates far red, deep red, and UV light.

I know Coco for Cannabis recommends the Viparspectra KS5000, and dollar for dollar I’m sure it’s hard to beat it. But it doesn’t include any of the far red or UV abilities.

Mr. Grow It had an interview with a grower that wins competitions, and he highly recommended ThinkGrow. Their lights, particularly the Model One modular system, looks amazing. But I didn’t realize AC Infinity’s EVO8 included the same spectrum as the Model One.

So, not sure if I cheap out over the Viparspectra 500w at $370, go with the EVO8 740w for $800, or go with the “award winner” Model One 540w for $835 (with the ability to add another 180w later if I needed to for another $250).

I already have an evo 6 and ended up purchasing a evo 8 and evo 10. I’m Currently running the evo 8 and evo 10 in my 4x8 tent and my plants are in heaven. I have both light 18” above the canopy and have incorporated a pretty good schedule. I run 3 hours sunrise and sunset, with 6 hours of 1000 ppfd and co2 at 1200ppm. So I run the evo at level 8 and the evo 10 at level 6. This gets me 1030ish ppfd at 18”. I also run the evo 10 in my 5x5. I would recommend the evo 8 for the 4x4 even though the evo 10 is the same footprint size. The 10 is a little too much for a 4x4. Go for the evo 8 lights, you won’t be disappointed. It’s nice to be able to get 100% full coverage corner to corner and my plants love them all.

@Dantemecula Well it seems as though we are in need of some updated pics!!!!
