Hi guys I'm new to this forum but I'm facing issue with controlling temperature in grow tent. I'm using AC infinity 8 port controller
port 1 AC infinity led light
Port 2 mars hydro led light
Port 3 uis socket connected heater
Port 4 uis socket connected oscillating fan
I've set up port 1 and 2 to run on 6 from 6pm to 12 pm
Port 3, heater, continues to keep temperature 25 Celsius
Port 4 on all the time
Problem is that temperature is controlled well sure lights on but as soon lights are off temperature drops below 20 Celsius.
So I've changed to control temp from 6pm to 12pm at 25 Celsius and from 12pm to 6 pm 23 celsius and no difference. Once lights are off the heater is no off but there is a circle nex to it but I don't know what it means. What I'm doing wrong?

I do not have any experience with the sockets, but can you not set them to trigger on when a set temperature in the tent is reached and off when another is reached?

+1 on that.
I ust the target setting for my humidifier. No complaints.
I have set up target settings look at photo attached and no working as should. I'm confused what this circle means check photo no 2. Once the heater is on then shows is on photo 3 and when off photo 4

I can’t really help as I only tried to set mine up yesterday but I can confirm it’s a bit tricky compared to my INKBIRD units. There must be a way to do it as it’s a clever bit of kit but I’ve got a similar issue to you while trying to get the fan to change speed settings to control humidity.

One thing you could try is setting your times to 12pm-5.59pm then 6pm-11.59pm
Maybe the overlapping times are confusing it?

I'm try it right now and I will let you know thank you for idea

Stay out of the automation. Use the regular triggers.

I also don't use Automations. They're too difficult to use and the documentation is horrible. Someday, I might try to learn how to use them when the tent is empty.

Everything I own from heaters to ac to dehumidifiers are controlled via a app so I only use the controller to control the extractor fan. The app for the others I use to control my lung room. Works great, I just leave the small fans on all the time.

I mostly use the controller for the analytics

I'm the opposite. I don't use the reports at all because they're useless. The controllers control the lights, heater, humidifier and all the fans. The exceptions are the dehumidifier in the lung room and the A/C for the house because they have their own controls. I've been thinking about using alerts.

The alerts are repetive and flood you with the same alert over and over. Then you are stuck with a ton of messages that you need to open to make them go away. I was not impressed with the alerts.

I like the reports because they are pretty useless but gives me something hobby related to fuck with other than my plants. Lol. I was about to put some barbies in the tent just to do something nice for my girls.

The analytics are valuable if you understand them and know how to utilize them properly ✌️

Guys I'm sorry for trouble that what was :
I've put WiFi socket on extension cord and plug in heater and oscillating fan to it with uis plugs. I've never noticed that I have automation set up on that WiFi socket to turn on at 6pm to 12pm and off 12pm to 6pm ( previously used for lights). This was all the problem and automations are not so difficult. I'm using it all the time. Thank you so much for your help. Obviously without your ideas guys I will never find it out and I would blame AC infinity controller which is actually a great peace of equipment. Have a great time guys and big buds!

Forgot to add that this WiFi socket is plugged in for electricity consumption check. Thanks again.

What analytics? Google couldn't find the word on their website. Do you mean the charts? I don't use those much because the data takes forever to download and doesn't tell me much that I don't already know.

Utilizing data isn't for everyone, do you bro

If you plant is in auto veggie stage, you can set it for veggie stage and that might help if it’s in flower stage, you can set it for auto flowers not saying it’s gonna help but it might. I have no problems with mine.
