What about flower.?.the fans are really big and wide.. normally I trim them back in flower never ha any plants with so big of fan leaves

Theres a fine line in flower... You can do the first week or so but you dont want to stunt an already long flower plant

If a big fat leaf is covering a big fat bud get rid of the leaf. That's a good ideal to stick with.
