Ok,so a friend just gave me a couple of clones to grow outdoors. I live in North Eastern U.S. & one of them is purple kush, not sure of other strain. He provided soil which I’m also not sure of but he said it’s good soil. After transplanting with me yesterday he told me to keep them out of direct sunlight as to not shock them & to slowly acclimate to the light. Also temp is 80f. & will be for most of wk. I started them under tree in slight shade yesterday & placed them under deck of patio this morning with slight light on them. How long should I do this for & how much is too much light & how much too little? I don’t wanna end up with quarter ounce of bud after I’m done grow these, lol.

Also read I should cut tips off leaves. Is this a good idea or should I leave as is? Any advice greatly appreciated as always!
