another question I've got is atm I've got a 300w dual spectrum cfl I was thinking of adding more red spectrum cfls when in flower will I need it? how much more would I need if so I have 4 autos as you can see in pics.
I would start B.B around third nodes of plants, actually any food . Third node should be week three or so of growth.
No use the B.B In between feedings of Grow big.
Any info on the matter would be greatly appreciated as is your time in posting all this :)Greetings Egzoset
First let me say that male autos will grow at the same rate as females if not quicker.
So the simple answer to your question comes in two parts:
1. for making regular seed using males - I would advise you to start your mother plants and your father plants at the same time, just as nature would. Pollen will start to fall in time to give you a good amount of seed
2. for making fem seed using only females - you will want to start the plant you are going to use as the father two to three weeks before you start the mother plant. the reason for this is that to make feminised seed you will be giving a female plant a sex change and that takes time so the time line I would use is below.
week 1 - plant father plant (female to be reversed)
week 2 - maintain father plant
week 3 - plant mother plants (ones that will carry seed)
The father plant should be showing pistils now as soon as it does begin spraying daily with colloidal silver
week 4 - grow mother plants as normal
continue spraying father with colloidal silver
week 5 - grow mother plants as normal
Male pollen sacks should now be visible on the father plant, when they are stop sraying with colloidal silver and grow as
normal
week 6 - grow as normal
week 7 - pollen should now be falling from the father plant, allow this to pollinate the chosen mothers, and store some pollen for
future use, then discard the father plant
Seeds will take around 6 weeks to become fully mature
(to store pollen use a little plastic vial and rice grains to absorb moisture, ensuring all leaf material is removed then it will
last for about 6 months if stored in the fridge)
week 8 - 12 grow as normal
week 13 - harvest lots of feminised seed for future use
If you need a hand with any other aspects of breeding give me a shout and I will see if I can help you
I don't think keeping her root bound will be any less stressful lol than reporting learn from your mistake and move on bro I would personally repot and be careful about to reduce risk of stress and give her a dose of root stim and hope for the best but tbh a 3gal pot should be big ebough for 1 plant unless she a monster the yellow root maybe just a dead tap root that pretty much always fly out of the bottom the best way is to use bubble pots if your unsure how much pot is needed they air prune your roots making them use the space much more efficientlyHey everyone, hope your doin well. I have a question about autos. Now I have read the previous pages and know that transplanting is a NO NO, but ...I gotta help my baby lol. She is root bound n this 3 gal trash can deal from Wally world. (Didn't know there was a diff in pot gal and other containers) i picked her up yesterday to check to see if i had to water and noticed a small whitish, yellow root on the tent floor. I looked and saw a root hangin n front of the drain hole.
Is there ANY method of transplanting that will allow her to not stunt on me? I mean i wanna see what she can do. I think im doing well with the grow so far and wanna see her potential before i spray and seed her for summer. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Another tip to use the most of your pot is when watering do it slowly so it doesn't just run down the fastest path your root will only grow where the substrate is wet I've found using a subeers able pump a bit of hose and a watering wand is a good way to fully make sure you have wet it through set the wand on shower setting and maybe put a drop of ata clean in with your mix it wilol stop any salt build up in the wand head :)Hey everyone, hope your doin well. So this is what she looks like day 26, i really have never transplanted before could someone walk me thru, if u domt mind.
O i also have a holy grail(no pic) thats in the same size pot, probably also rootbound. Plan on lst and scrog for
They look overwatered. Let the meduim dry out more. Poor ladies feet are too wet.
Best of luck.
Peace
I usually repot a few times with standards not got any experience yet with auto and the reason I like to repot a few times is because I don't give the plants too much water that they can't drink it within 3 days but I also like my whole medium wet so gradually increasing the size of pot has always worked really well for meView attachment 550457 Gave all the plants their first soak yesterday. I am noticing that maybe the soil mix I went with left the soil to porous. Even after a good soak yesterday, the soil towards the top half of pots seems way to dry today. Stuck my finger into the bottom of pots and they seem to be wet .. But not the top half.
I find myself adding a little water daily. Not so sure should be doing that.
Along with the soak, I gave em their first bit of nutes.
1 tsp root stimilator
1/4 tsp Grow Big
2 tblsp Big Bloom
Any way, they all look a bit sad, but new growth looking good.
Dude, don't use bloom yet they are way too young! they haven't even hit the stretch phase yet!View attachment 550457 Gave all the plants their first soak yesterday. Yes I did intend to have the schedule as it is.hey everyone.
ive got a question, about the BIOBIZZ NUTE SCHEDULE posted at the begining of this thread.
it was written there, to gradually cut out on the GROW nutes, and gradaully add the BLOOM nutes, untill your giving mostly just BLOOM, till the last week wehre its only BLOOM.
now my questions is:
in BIOBIZZ's origional nute schedule for PHOTOPERIOD plants, youll notice if you check, that they dont cut out the GROW nutes when turnign over to BLOOM. as a matter of fact, the GROW nutes grows gradually more and more during the whole extent of the plants life, untill the before the flush. i think the reason being, that their GROW nutes is a general all purpose nute, and they intended it to be given during the entire plants life, and to be given at greater amounts during the later weeks of the plants life, since it needs most energy then, together with the bloom.
so did the OP intend his schedule on purpose, and purposefully cut out the GROW nutes when the BLOOM comes in?
it really seems to me, that following these instructions, might cause nute defiencencis in the grow.
or are autoflowers different than photos in their needs for nutes?
im interested in opinions. thanks!

introduce bloom when you see the vertical growth slow down usually around week 5 on regular autos and week 7-8 on super autos.
Keep going with the root and grow for now and you should see great things down the road
no problem, another thing to look out for is when the buds start to develop and get to about a penny size its another indicator that bloom is now needed. Thanks Seraphim.. I was just going by what Str8 suggested about the Big Bloom..
