Here is a pretty cool calculator. It tells you how much nute solution to add back to your rez, based on your target and current PPm/EC movements. The water and rez info is optional.
Pretty Simple to Use. Just plug in your data:
target PPM
Current PPM
Capacity of Rez
Current Level of solution in Rez
Your Conversion rate of your meter (.7 or .5) as 700 or 500
Based on the Lucas Method (0-8-16)
This is a great tool to get your plants' feeding regime "dialed in". Take notes of the PPM during the different stages of it's life, so you can immediately give the plants what they need on the next run.
Hope this helps the novice grower. Complete directions are listed one by one in the spread sheet. Just dont change the data in the gray boxes, as these cells contain the formulas for the entire sheet. Thanks.
