Adding silicon

Hi guys, another quick one. When adding silicon do you go full strength at 1ml/litre? I've got a 250litre res and when I seem to add silicon to the mix at 1ml/litre I have deficiency problems and my plants droop like crazy. I actually removed silicon from my feed schedule last few grows because of this reason, I am adding it correctly to stop the clouding in the res too, im just wondering if I'm adding well too much. BTW it's (Vitalink silicon max) thanks for your input guys

Idk bout hydro but I do 1ml/Gal
