If they've been accustomed to 600 PPFD under your lights and you throw them out in the sun at 1500-2000 PPFD its not an hour or two of it, it's the huge change in DLI that they might not be able to handle out the gate. So yeah just a couple hours and then move them to shade at first to help them regulate to environment. You've drastically changed the light, but you can transition them better by starting with a comparable DLI that you increase with more and more time in the sun gradually.

I’d always give the clone at least 1 full day in the shade before moving into the sun (and if it was sunny, sunny, limited hours on day 2.) if you plants are 100% artificial light I’d transition into sun over a couple days. (If you’re going in-and-out it’s not a big deal if it’s been inside for a few days due to bad weather.)i
