adjusting night cycle question...........

I'm running 20 on 4 off.......lights shut down at midnight.I want the shut down time to start at 9 p.m instead of midnight........can I just move the timers back 4 hours and not cause any shock.......or will it hurt the moms and they will have to re-acclimate..........shamus:sun2:
