How about somebody shows some proof that Advanced Nutrients actually has scientists working for them coming up with these magic formulas that double your yields. Last time I checked North American Companies like Advanced Nutrients contract out there orders to Agrium Inc. who has fertilizer made for them by various Industrial factories with all standard npk ratios that are proven for agriculture, so is Agrium mixing up these special formulas for Advanced or is really whats going on is Advanced is just buying standard npk formulas from Agrium bottled with a couple random additives to make it appear as theres something different about it, then slapping on a fancy label.

Reminds me of how the nutrition supplement industry operates. :mad0233:

Wheres Dr.Kaw? Is he real? Is he the one coming up with these formulas and then having them contracted out to Agrium???? Does anybody know???

How do we legitimize Dr.Kaws existence because this sure doesn't prove to me he exists..this is either a fake website made by AN or AN plagiarized there scientists article to make us think Dr.Kaw exists.

Why do you hate Advanced Nutrients so much? I would like to know so that I don't purchase a crummy product, can you elaborate a little bit?

I don't hate them I just smell something very fishy and find there marketing tactics offensive and misleading :dull

As I said I use Hammerhead and that is an Advanced Nutrient product, am I using it because of what Ive read on the farm about it being better than pk 13/14 yes but not because AN says its better. I have no doubt in my mind that AN products work but do they work better? thats questionable, environment and the system your growing in are more important. My experience has been that bud size and resin production are genetic and aslong as your keeping them healthy and feeding them the proper npk they will produce what there genetics allow them to produce.

100% agree with this! Know your audience isn't their motto. I thought I was at a mormon bible sales convention or something, at the AN booth last convention.

They definitely have a cult following, but there marketing works and they are successful. You can get good yields and AAA quality with bulk no name dry fertilizers aslong as the npk is right, then theres the little extra things we like to add like cal mag, sugars. All the hydroponic fertilizer companies know pot growers have extra money to spend on products so they use it against us, and it works heck I bought some Canna Boost for no reason other then to try it even though its ridiculously expensive.

True every thing u need to create some killer bud is all around u in bits and pieces. i can go into details but i wont. let me tell y hardly no 1 does diy ferts and micro's because we live in a convenient society we let ppl do the work so we dont have 2 (AND AN DO IT BEST.) The most basic of things in growing is soill, now b honest ppl how many of u make ur own soil? .............................. ....................... ( UR right bro i got a hydrophonic shop on my road and i cant walk past it without buying something LOL)

For every time I hear that, someone says they did better with a competitor and the funny thing is that AN has multiple user accounts on every single pot growing forum to defend there products. They are very sneaky :anim_44:

Thank you for saying this. Me too. I used Iguana Juice forever and now I'm getting back into Sensi and Grow-Micro-Bloom. Actually, I'm beginning to think that the non-organics are treating my plants better and I have no idea why. Meh. The results are showing me I've made the right decision.

I think AN is certainly worth it and while I'm sure other nutes work well too, they just don't work as well for me as they need to work for the AN haters. LOL

So yeah, I think you need to consider the sources of where you're getting your information. Many people on these boards don't know what they're talking about.

Including me...:party0036:

Never said they didn't work, just not what they claim and AN are the biggest haters of them all lol, the customers are the scientists when a bunch of people complain they have the formula modified.

Im using AN in an aeroflo20 for the first time and i gotta say the "ph/ppm perfect" advertising is pretty much rite. The ph doesnt move one bit. ppm are only going down cuz my chemvalleykush's are nute hogs.

I dunno if its really worth the price but it aint a bad product line.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I use advanced nutrients. The PH down that is! It is the most concentrated PH down I could find on the market. I did'nt get a chance to use any of the other products. Too much$$$$.

I think I'm doing just fine w/ GH. $150 for 6 gallons micro, $110 for 6 gal. bloom/grow. I could'nt imagine the price difference w/AN. Not to mention additives and myco's.

Cali Connection - Julius Caesar (SFVOGxSFVMaster) - AN Nutrients

Cali Connection - Julius Caesar (SFVOGxSFVMaster) - AN Nutrients:
I am not a great grower, but I get pretty good results with AN. Here is some AN nugget porn from my recent harvest:

I really like the results I get with AN, I just don't need the excessive propaganda. These nugs are sweet as heck though, having run the Bud Candy.

I know the great genetics help, but I know that I could not have done such a good job, so easily sicking with GH.
I would rate my AN nugs A where I would grade my GH nugs B+ at best. I am sure this is 'cause I am no expert, but that's my 2 cents.

They have been combined in the new Bud Candy.
PS:
If you wisely purchase 2 bottles of AN product, they throw in the 3rd bottle free. Meaning you will save at least 33% overall by knowing how they market their deals.

We just have different opinions, but I respect any challenge as that's how we all get better!

lmao AN nugs A+ and GH B+ .. so many growers would disagree with you, if that were true then AAA would only be grown with AN and that is total bullshit.

well homie im not an but i like their products so when i compared the two earlier its only from my experience with the two. i went with gh flora nova and additives because i was very fond of the kiss method (keep it simple stupid) didnt want the hassle of mixing so many different products at different times.the results i were getting were okay but not what i wanted. for example i did pineapple express with all gh products and dry weight i ended up with 3 oz's i said not bad. i turned around and did that same strain with an conniseur and i ended up with 5 oz's plus overall look was better, smell, more resin so thats what made me decide to stick with an.
