thank you! I will certainly read up on the gypsum a bit!I like to amend with gypsum, the pelleted works best, I have no expierence with your soil mix but worm castings will be a good choice to add if you can afford it.
that certainly soundsinteresting, thank you for the advice. Teas have certainly peaked my interest. up to this point the little bit of feeding I have done has been with general hydroponics, however I do want to go completely organic at some point. I will look into those 3amendments, specifically the dte bio live.Down to Earth Bio Live
Down to Earth Vegan Blend
Dr Earth Flower Girl
Are my go tos as of late.
For my outdoor I would just top-dress with the dry amendments right around the drip lines and water in teas and ferments and it worked out well.
With my indoor I am trying something new, I am mixing the dry amendments with worm castings weeks ahead of time and then letting them sit in breathable containers. Then topdressing with the enriched castings. I will have to let you know after harvest how it goes, but so far so good.
the more I have read about organic gardening, the more I continue to see people making their own worm castings. this is something that certainly interests me. I need to do some research on it for sure. I suspect you need to have a dedicated indoor area for it during the winter months at least. I do like the idea of being sustainable, so I will be looking into this! I am new to organic gardening but this is something that could benefit all of our plants in the house. I will look into the bio live, again really appreciate the adviceYour missing a K boost in your amendments as well as some trace but black gold should come with half way decent ratios. Over the counter EWC are just total crap, even the 50$ bags of roots are a world different from what comes outta my tubs. Bio live from DTE has most of that and more, just get a big ol bag of that. You want the best? Make you own, you can reuse your waste, and for NO cost create something better. Keep waste outta the landfill, and in your pipe!!!
pots are still quite heavy, I gave them each a fair bit of water when transplanting. I think they were probably a bit small for these pots, I'll probably do a watering tonight, not quite what I did initially though. I also did ph adjust on the first water to 6.5 since I'm mixing 50 percent tap water in (after letting it sit out). I think I'm going to try not ph adjusting, going straight r.o, and maybe add a small amount of roots cal mag. appreciate the input!Looking fairly good. Maybe a bit of mineral deficiency although your medium looks awfully dry. I know some like to grow that way but I am not one. I keep the soil moist until the end of flower. You can also help your humidity without the need of a humidifier by using the soil to regulate it. Probably not quite as effective in a tent but still the same principal. Dry soil makes dry air.
interesting, mine started on the parameters of the leaves, and than I noticed some of the holes in the middle. I definitely look forward to a time when I can move my girls outdoors tho!I have a very similar hole in a leaf on one of my outdoor plants I noticed this evening. It was after sunset and too hard to see to do a search for the varmint pest that chewed it. I just sprayed all my outdoor plants with Pyganic. That should kill whatever is on my plants.
